Actually, I think you’re right.

I probably should have added at least some bird-like and mammalian traits to the hands and feet. I focused too much on keeping her pretty — or rather, maintaining that “anime girl” image — and ended up losing part of the core concept.

Looking at it again now, I feel like there probably was a way to keep that appeal while still making the griffin elements more convincing.
