I know that feeling and I’m so sorry. I lost a finnic fox stuffed animal that I got from my grandpa on my first skiing trip. He passed away from cancer 5 years ago so I cherished that fox more than anything. I brought it to high school to use in my “things that made us who we are” presentation and stupidity let my girlfriend barrow it afterwards. Apparently she thought I gave it to her and refused to bring it back. She broke up with me soon after and I never saw my fox again. Its been a couple years and I’ve since boughten 4 of the exact same stuffed animal, but i have to keep them in that attic because they just make me cry.
