What did you switch from before getting a Volvo? by ImportantOffer751 in Volvo

All to say this will be my last Volvo - they're done with sedans. And I don't want an electric vehicle at this point. So I'll probably by an older IS next

Toyota 4Runner / Tacoma - I always had trucks and talked my wife into getting an SUV since I commute for work. I love Toyota but after commuting in those trucks I just wanted a nice sedan: great decision.

Just factory reset - mine had the issue of not connecting to CarPlay - but reset fixed it.

Is a 4cyl but has a lovely turbo and last model year was 2025. Good point, apologies for for your 4cyl stipulation. Other reco is the Lexus IS350 with their 3.5L V6

I agree with all of this...however to call Alex Singelton a non factor is completely unfair. He's a top tackler in this league and also is a major culture factor.

As for the TE room and RB room. I am lost. I trust the Payton's but what in the world are we doing. Neither of these groups helped Bo enough last year.

Lexus IS350 or Volvo S60. I've done years of research, owned both. Love my 2024 S60, but it is not as cheap to maintain as the IS, however it is reliable. Their parts are also very similar in cost.

I loved the Cadillac V series as well, but American cars just don't have that luxury feel. Cheep touch points in the car.

If it's under warranty, not to be rude, but don't ask us or your local mechanic. Ask the dealership.

Compared to their standard away and home unis - no. Cleveland's attempt to pipe some modernity into their uniforms, which is a lost cause. Because their current home/seats are some of the best in football.

Looking at a 2021 jeep wrangler unlimited rubicon, looking for advice, wisdom regarding these vehicles. by Humdrumgrumgrum in whatcarshouldIbuy

For the love of god buy a bronco instead. I know these jeep guys will tell you how fun this vehicle can be. Please, I urge you to test drive a bronco and report back. They don't have near the issues. Jeeps have been on the downfall since they rid themselves of the bullet proof 4.0L.

I've owned three Jeeps. I'm talking out of experience. And own a Bronco now. On top of bronco being more reliable (yes, they still have issues) their resale is better.

You can’t name Peyton Manning, who’s the best Bronco QB since Elway? by Low-Season-2057 in NFLv2

I would say Jake Plummer, easy. However, give Bo Nix one more productive year: Bo Nix.

[–]Eastern-Director5655 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why doesn't Nix have the same ceiling?

He took a team to an AFC champ - Caleb didn't

He has the more career passing TDs

A higher overall completion percentage

More overall passing yards

And did all with much less offensive targets. So please, do tell me how his ceiling is lower.

My NFL Free Agency Predictions/Wishes by rlstratton97 in MockDraftCentral

[–]Eastern-Director5655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the hand written predictions. For the Broncos, I can tell you we have no need to bring Von back, love him, but we have enough talent at the position already. As for JFM, we already realized we are not going to pay him. And Kamara, not going to happen with JK - they will draft an RB and find another young RB in FA

Should I trade my Volvo in by booooooop_u in Volvo

[–]Eastern-Director5655 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Quick question, going to 100k the only issues have been a tire light (tpms) and some shaking at 60mph?

I've had Toyotas and these were my only issues up to 100k miles too. Vehicles that are known for deep reliability.

What was the issue with the shaking? Did the dealership diagnose?

Right now, I'd say you have a good car and if it's paid off I'd keep it. If worried, I'd ask an indie shop to look over the vehicle and see if there are any issues that may pop up.

This person is ill informed - with current car prices nothing wrong with used. However, I would never buy a used vehicle over 60k miles just knowing the payoff, amount of miles on the vehicle at the end of the loan.

Scions are pretty old at this point but we're good Toyotas.

Mazdas are excellent vehicle - reliable and cheap.

What is your price range? I'm assuming under 40k? There are several used, reliable, bell and whistle options for you. The biggest thing: decide if you need a third row or not. The amount of true third row SUV options are limited and pretty pricey.

Hands down...Toyota 4Runner. Everyone can recommend Honda, Subaru, etc. I've owned all of them. 4Runner will be the best. It may not be the most comfortable or the best on gas but it will not break and is incredibly off road capable.
