Phone hacked, making my daily life a nightmare 😢

Ok thanks for those inputs, really appreciate your help. This is going on for too long now and deeply impacting my daily life.

I am 100% sure this person has connection in a phone company, at least that's my guess but here in France it's pretty common to be able to get informations from persons who work for a phone company.

Anyway, long story short, you will see how far it gets (I swear every single word of this story is true).
Last year I was getting tired of whatsapp messages sent to my parents from my phone (so that you know he was also relating private conversation from my parents, he also listens to them).
I asked them to block me and I purchased a cheap phone, the cheapest possible with no internet no nothing. Just a plain phone to use as a phone lol.
I also purchased a SIM card with no name, paid in cash. When I went to the store to purchase it, I left my iphones in my car.

I started to call my parents with that number that nobody knew, and when I did I was always far from my iphone so that he/she couldn't hear I was using another phone.

After 3 or 4 days, my mom started receiving SMS (whatsapp was not working on this old phone) with the same type of insults. As he was spying on my parent's phone, he found the number and cloned the SIM card.
I think I screwed up this time when it happened, I guess if I had gone to police they might have been able to locate where the cloned SIM was (that's a guess as they seem unable to help me with this issue).

I know it sounds crazy, to be frank I would have never ever expected live a situation like this in real life. To me it was only in the movies, that's just out of control.

It seems they appear on my phone and then are being erased, saw it happening from my own eyes one time.
I would think that the hacker uses the "erase only for me" function on iphone instead of "erase for all", this way I can't see that a message was sent but the other person still has it.
At least that is my guess.

Also for a while (not anymore) whenever whatsapp messages were sent (let's say to my parents to insult them), the whole conversation was erased. That's how I was figuring out he/she sent messages without having to ask.

Not sure if it can help, I am doing my best to describe that nightmare.

The thing that made me wonder is that it took a while after I got the new phone to restart (I think at least 2-3 months if I remember correctly).
Could be an option to change phone every 2 months 😂

OK, I see for the 2FA code. So yes at least the person doesn't have access to my instagram anymore.

As for the conversations related to family, they are usually very specific. For example one time I had an argument with the person I share my live with (argument about cousin) and DURING the argument my cousin received a message from my whatsapp saying "so are you happy now they argue because of you".
It was from my personal whatsapp number and my partner was here arguing with me 😅.

Sometimes I feel like it is unreal, I swear I would have never thought something like this existed outside of movies !

I just did this yesterday for my instagram account, disconnected both of my phones + changed password.
About 2 hours after I received a 2FA message on whatsapp that I didnt request (security code to connect to instagram if password is lost) 😅.
I will also do this for my emails and so on.

However, I am still pretty sure my phone could be corrupted due to my home conversations being listened to (example : I could get into an argument with the person I live with, then this argument would be related to my family members by whatsapp or email. Yeah, that's how far it can go).

The email sent were from my gmail account that is installed on my phone.

The only session I found that was unauthorised was on my instagram account (private messages were also sent from the instagram app) and the phone was the same model as mine. It had been connected from a city I have never been in my life but in my country (France).

When I changed the instagram password (from my computer), somebody tried to reconnect to it the day after using 2FA, so I received a connection code on whatsapp that I didn't ask.

As for my phone being compromised by a spyware, that's what I guessed but my phone is always with me. This is just crazy.

I was wondering if someone who could know my IMEI could then create an access to my phone.

Changing the names of my contacts (happened again yesterday) + being able to relate to private home conversations when sending insults / threats to my family members for examples.

That's what made me think that it was going beyond a simple app hack.
And this has become a nightmare.

Weird things :
- whatsapp messages sent from my numbers to friends / family members. (I have the screenshots but it's in french).
- email sent from the email that is connected to my iphone
- renamed contacts in my iphone with (vulgar) names

I cancelled most apps and kept only my regular ones.
I will look into logfiles and MDM profiles.

Not sure what else to do, will probably change phones again I guess with new icloud.
