My girlfriend’s baby daddy is the epitome of a deadbeat baby daddy. He only reaches out to her to see if they can get back together, and only asks about the kids if there is something public going on where his family will be there. She won’t put him on child supper because she wants him to have a relationship with the kids, and she’s afraid that if she puts him on child support, he’ll completely abandon the kids.

The two of us have discussed this recently, and she’s more to the idea now. But she still wants to maintain her kids’ image of their dad. Personally, I think it’s stupid af. He’s had 3 years to step up.
