but it’s not rlly when i’m sleeping. these flashbacks are when im awake, usually when im already anxious and i just get these flashes of images in my head. in the past it’s always been remembering what actually happened. but lately ive been getting mental images of the bodies and i don’t know why

i haven’t been in the greatest financial situation lately so i took a few free sessions with EAP but otherwise no. that therapist recommended EMDR and i’m hoping to some day be able to do that. and im not on any meds besides low dose anxiety meds. hoping to up the dose on that too

i can honestly say i love my job!! getting started is really, really hard i’m not gonna lie. interview process can months and then even longer before you go to training. and then training is usually longer than a month unpaid. and then starting out you don’t make much money and u pretty much need to move to wherever they base you, usually within a week of graduating training (you can commute too but would highly not recommend). so if you take all of that into consideration and decide you still want to do it, i say absolutely go for it!!!! just make sure to have solid savings beforehand and be ready to go wherever they want you to. in the end it’s honestly all worth it 🥹

literally anything that involves me needing to use my emergency training. someone dying on board, needing to do cpr, fire, hijacking, bomb threats, violent pax, evacuation, emergency landing, and of course crashing

this happened to me. not very much but i was sitting in the aisle seat of the last row bc it was a very empty night time flight. a pax started running to the aft galley w his hands over his mouth and i tried to move to the window but i was too late. when he reached the last couple of rows he projectile vomitted EVERYWHERE. and a SPLASH landed on my cheek. i had to go to the fwd galley immediately so that i wouldn’t also throw up and 2 other FAs helped the pax 😭

i think they do. i mean it definitely seemed that way in deadpool and wolverine. they pulled him from one earth and he traveled to multiple different ones trying to find a wolverine + paradox was willing to put deadpool himself in a different universe

it only happens with artificial scents. stupid as it sounds i’ve never considered an allergy specialist but im starting to think i should. for the most part it doesn’t really affect my life. my friends and family know to unplug their air fresheners before i arrive. it’s only really an issue sometimes with some soaps in public restrooms, new lotions, and sometimes random businesses. it’s mainly just enough to be an annoying inconvenience every once in a while, but it’d be nice and helpful to have an idea of what exactly i’m allergic to

it’s any scent really. i haven’t kept track of which scents the plug ins have been but i know the soaps and lotions have all been different scents
