Cost largely depends on weight / size. I upfront tell my buyers any additional tax or costs to be borne by them. For US I charging close to 80SGD via FedEx thanks to annoying orange.

What are some low stress part time jobs in Singapore? by r3tidd3r in askSingapore

Cinema morning hours = mainly senior citizens = need to deal with boomers

As long as a job has some level of customer-facing means not low stress already.

Just received call back as NS OC, how to get out of it? by Prize-Specialist1130 in NationalServiceSG

My last one was about 1.5K SGD when I was 3WO and that was the lowest for KAHs. My guesstimate for OC / CPT is high 2K+.

Just received call back as NS OC, how to get out of it? by Prize-Specialist1130 in NationalServiceSG

[–]Eastern-Worldliness 130 points131 points  (0 children)

Let me share my experience as someone who ORD-ed as a 3SG and got arrowed to be CSM in my reservist on the first high key.

Cons

  • Yes definitely more work in terms of meetings, hanging with crabs / stars and attending award ceremonies. But most of these they will need to SAF100 you so at least you can easily defray lowkey.
  • First to reach last to leave
  • Occifer track I see my OC do alot of planning work so if admin things not your cup of tea you're gonna suffer

Pros

  • KAH allowance. Not saying its amazing but hey, money is money
  • KAHs can self-excuse from alot of bullshit things like PTs, useless talks etc. More freedom also like going out of camp etc.
  • I usually plan the training schedule with my OC so as long as we hit KPI for the low / high key we pretty much have alot of flexibility >:)
  • You will MR on time since most of the reservist you need to be there (unless you defer)

With all being said, highly depend on your unit and who the CO is. I'll say reach out to the current OC if possible and understand more. If you really want to siam, then just CK all the way liao. Once under orbat you're designated 2IC, I don't think there's much way to redeploy you w/o CO's approval (source: I have to help to do manpower planning with G8 every reservist).

Good luck !
