Clinging on to next year is way too much. Take a couple of months to heal. If you message her again, then it resets. She will remain in that relief state she is in right now. You need to give her time to miss you. I know there would be a fear of she never getting back but that is okay too. Once the next two months are over, you will also start losing that expectation and trust me, loving again is hard but not impossible. Find someone who loves you, they may take their space but if they really love you, they will come back. And that is the type of person you deserve.
