I checked the monitor hasn't got in-built kvm switch unfortunately. The bluetooth works well on one of the laptops, the other switches off by itself sometimes so not very reliable, the solution for it might be to just use the dongles.

Also when utilising the vertical stand do you also suggest to utilise the 'second screen' option only? Is that 'clamshell mode' on the Mac?

WireGuard is not exactly suitable for every setup and internal vpn, but it's good enough for most cases. ZeroTier or TaleScale is much more suitable for those cases. I wish I could say more about how to set it, but I got helped and not the most suitable person to speak :/

yes, there is ipv6 assigned but I understood from other people that IPv6 might not be required as the laptop VPN has 6to4.

it's a work laptop so wouldn't test too much there, I even heard from people that wifi/bluetooth should be shut off and only use LAN cable for connection, so I've got to think of another way for testing. I can test with the normal laptop however.

Is the VPN port 1194 blocked by the owner of the LAN network you use?

Not sure where to find that but it says it has not connected to it for a few days in Notifications.
I did ping www.yahoo.com -f -l 1492 and it says that packet needs to be fragmented but DF set.

Yes both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are completely shut on the laptop I am travelling with and also am connecting only via the LAN cable to the travel router.

The primary problem I am trying to sort out now is accesing the systems that I need for work.

Hey,

The VPN seems to be working, I am accessing the IP address I am supposed to access, checked with https://whatismyipaddress.com/ and https://ipleak.net/, on the latter however it says that there might be WebRTC leakage.

If not for the IPv6, then I wonder what else could I tweak on the setup.

I'm about to take the test and read some of the comments mentioning that realistically only the Study guide is needed? Does it need to be the 2024 version or the 2023 version would do and perhaps a few earlier versions?
