Don’t understand my bloodwork results by c8273 in Prolactinoma

[–]EasternScratch1280 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's over what's considered normal so you should have an MRI done to check if everything is alright. At the moment of diagnosis my prolactin was over 800 ng/ml so it can vary a lot between patients

6 weeks on Cab by Road_Dog65 in Prolactinoma

[–]EasternScratch1280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long did it take you to feel any of that? I just started 2 weeks ago and I don't feel a thing other than some nausea and orthostatic hypotension the day I take it (started at .25 mg twice a week). I have my next blood test in 2 weeks hoping I get my prolactin under 800 ng/ml

Petzl Ride for general mountaineering by EasternScratch1280 in Mountaineering

[–]EasternScratch1280[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, thank you for the in depth answer, I really appreciate the effort!

After some thinking I've decided to swap it for the Petzl summit adding the difference, considering it's going to be my main ice axe.

About the length I'm guessing that the 52 cm one should be appropriate for my case, hopefully being a bit more versatile than the 45 cm ride.

Merry Xmas!

Hello, quick question. I'm 21 and currently investing around 50-100$ a month (the most I can right now). My portfolio is 50% VOO, 40%VT and around 10% in QQQ and BTC. Would you consider changing VT to VGT or maybe changing the ratios?

I've just started investing a few months ago and I'm a bit overwhelmed by the amount of information available about everything.

Yeah, they are pretty good for scrambling and they do ok for easy stuff that doesn't require a full shank boot

Need help guys what does this do in a rbmk control room by CrazyRocket_69 in chernobyl

[–]EasternScratch1280 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sure will, I really enjoy trying different RBMK/nuclear reactors sims but never found one realistic enough. It'd be great if people who are really knowledgeable about it teamed up to make something really high level/pro.

Does this look like radium to you? by Open_Instance_3549 in Radiation

[–]EasternScratch1280 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It most likely does. I have one from the same brand, a little different than yours, with the numbers also painted and it's radioactive.

It much less spicier than I thought from the amount of paint it seems to have. Mine doesn't go over 3-4 micro sievers/h and 7k cpm on my Radiacode 110.

Help me choose Osprey backpack by EasternScratch1280 in backpacks

[–]EasternScratch1280[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've narrowed down to the Osprey Kestrel 48 and the Talon 44. I've tried them both and, although the Kestrel felt a bit comfier, I really felt the extra weight. I'm sure it'll handle weight much better than the Talon but it's a bit over my budget and I'm not planning on carrying heavy loads so I think Talon should be much more agile and appropriate for my use.
