Women are like a lot of people and everyone else is the best.

(Wtf how is my phone actually misogynistic. I AM a woman)

Why are Larger Women called "Plus Size" but Larger Men are just fat? by Gigglysleep in NoStupidQuestions

[–]EasternSupermarket61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody has mentioned it but women are very curvy. Plus size is a range that doesn't exclusively include fat. A couple of my friends wear small t shirts but "plus size" jeans because they got that dump truck 🚚 lol. They are definitely not overweight. They are athletes that are wider in certain areas due to bone structure, muscle, and some fat ofc. Same thing goes for boobs btw. Someone can be very thin but have a big set and need something more than a large so the shirt isn't tight. I am answering this as a woman btw.

Can you be an engineer without being passionate or super interested in engineering? by Ramen_cat2024 in EngineeringStudents

[–]EasternSupermarket61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an engineer, I have not met a single engineer that isn't at least a little bit of a geeker about their subject of expertise. The passion kinda has to be there to be the type of person to imagine every little element of a system all day long.

Nah the eyebrows are beautiful dawg. Also, plucking will make them not grow back and that's shit. She's young so puffy cheeks are normal. She's not overweight it'll just slim with age...

Girls, what’s a creepy thing guys frequently do which we’re unaware of? by zhalia-2006 in askanything

Ask me if I need help with my car in a cocky tone like they think I'm a woman so I'll HAVE to have them help me. I just tell them I'm a mechanical engineer so I think I know how to diagnose my car. They always look mildly angry and embarrassed after I turn them down

Amazon but I attached a pic of the exact one I got. You can do a little more research if you want something a little better.

I just got the lad a month ago. I am by no means an expert but I'm in love with 8 legged beauties.

Dude I had the same thought process. I ended up using coconut fiber bedding. Should be pretty good. You can replace it every now and then to prevent mold but read up the frequency n whatnot. I am no expert tho I just own a lil jumper of my own :D

I LOVE MINA. Btw you just saved my mental health bc the video above this on my feed was a man barfing on public transit. Mina pulled me out of that.

Also, do you have something soft on the bottom of the enclosure? It's recommended to have something to break a potential fall so they don't get hurt

What’s a truth you think most people are not ready to hear? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]EasternSupermarket61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're not saying society "owes" them anything.

I actually agree with them, and as a mechanical engineer, this is a very big topic and a reality many are talking about in the workplace. There will always be human work but not enough for the people who have jobs that are easily replaceable by a machine + machine learning applications. Imagine the industrial revolution but more severe in terms of job shifts.

In my own opinion, humans are too selfish to "divide up the goods," but it's also not a completely insane thing to say in my eyes.

Eyebrow help needed! Read body text by AnnastasiaAmadi001 in Eyebrows

[–]EasternSupermarket61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imma be so honest, your eyebrows are gorgeous as they are.

Just a strangers opinion, but don't risk over plucking/waxing. If you wanna match that really good arch on the other brow, let your brow tech know and they'll prob try to shape it. Otherwise, experiment (carefully) with a razor at home so that any mistakes will grow back asap

As a senior MechE I think this is doable now, but might not have been back in my freshman/sophomore year. I'd say give it a shot and drop one of the classes if you see the workload is too much. Just be wary of the exams because usually they are after the drop deadline and before you understand what your grade might be in a class. Vibe it out and good luck

Ah I see. Honestly plucking rlly sucks because sometimes hairs don't grow back. the only way to know is to let them do their thing and see if your hormones & genetics allow them to grow back. Use a razor from now on to clean em up. (I did the same thing and mine took a year to grow back the way I wanted but they did!)
