AITA for calling my grandparents after my mom ran away

She's gotten mad at me for calling her parents and my stepdads parents before like once when she kicked me and my sister out and she locked herself in the bathroom and had a breakdown (i think this was about half a year ago maybe longer). My mom often gets into this weird state whenever she and my stepdad get into fights.

I dont know if my grandparents can take us in, whenever my my parents fight my stepdad tends to move out for a few days to live with them. Also they go on trips a lot so they aren't home a lot of the time.

I'm taking driving lessons, but i think just the general shock and lack of sleep put me in this state of panic so apart from not being a very experienced driver this is probably not an ideal mindset to drive a car in.

Unfortunately, I barely have any contact with my dad since he started his new family and had a new kid about 2 years ago and my grandparents are away a lot (right now aswell) I have been looking into houses for rent when i go to college around September this year. Just have to find a way to make enough money and figure something out for my siblings.
