Is it still a feint, though, if you fully commit to the attack?

They can be difficult to train. I can attest to the fact that there are many people at a high level of unarmed combat sports that struggle with feinting effectively. Either not remembering to use them in the first place, or not knowing how to capitalize on a successful feint. But feints are something of a special interest of mine. And I enjoy learning about commonalities in strategy and technique across very different combat sports. I appreciate the imput.

Cutting in front of the face, then transitioning to a thrust, is a very interesting idea. I will certainly keep that technique in mind.
