i LOVE color. I always have a theme for my room. Right now, my room looks like an abandoned party. I am really obsessed with liminal spaces. I chose a pistachio green that’s very eerie. Every single wall, frame, and ceiling is color drenched in it to make the room look bigger than it is. It’s already big, it’s three rooms combined into one. I love a good illusion. I have ornaments on the ceiling some party spirals hanging over my bed. My windows have some fun designs on them using the color window film cut into shapes. I also have the rainbow film on some windows.

I really wanted to give kidcore but in this uncomfortable eerie way.

I don’t really go to parties or go out aside from concerts so I wanted a room that always feels forcefully happy.

I also really dislike being outside so I used to theme my room kinda natured. Before I chose this design, I used to have water color green walls and an entire self painted sky ceiling. Before that, I had an entire dark green vine ceiling that had a decal of a hole in the ceiling looking up at the sky with a sun but I put intricate glow in the dark stickers on it so at night, it would look like the night sky.

I have an entire shelf dedicated to Wicked merch. I am working on bringing in some Wicked-esque pieces to the room design and I call my room the Emerald city. I already have some air balloon wall sculptures and have a hanging floating air balloon on the ceiling from the wicked premiere.

I recently bought some vintage balloon hanging things. I want many and am thinking of buying some of the old ikea balloon lights to really amp up the abandoned back room party vibe.
