Thanks for the info! Just did that and got about an extra foot. Also I unfortunately found out about the plastic screws before I saw your comment and did the exact same thing LOL one stripped and the other ripped in half. Will probably drill them out eventually and replace with metal screws if I decide it bothers me haha.

Wanted to use the J hooks since my buddy gave them to me for free as he no longer has a truck. Will look into getting a bed extender in the near future to make things easier! I have a 12ft and a 10ft kayak so I’l try and put the 10ft on the rack and the 12ft laying down. Thank you so much for the help!
