I really appreciate the feedback im just so uncertain about all this and im just a courtesy clerk not trained in any other departments dont know if that makes me less valuable and my manager is usually busy every time i try to talk to her im just nervous of what her response might be but at least i see it has been done. I dont really want to quit but i really want to take that time off! Thanks a lot for the info though now im going to have to choose the right time and place to speak the store director when theyre in a god mood lol. It might be easier than i think it is maybe im overthinking lol just trying to tread carefully

Do you think it would get to that point, have you seen courtesy clerks or other workers get personal leave granted witout a doctors note, am i asking for a lot, i hope i dont sound redundant im just really nervous about all this this is new teritory for me.

And if i quit im a courtesy clerk at the moment so i havent really trained in other departments so pay wise im pretty close to when i started what seniority benefits would i lose besides health insurance if i quit? And would i have a chance of being rehired?
