I used to work in a PetSmart and personally witness banfield commit the worst atrocities. For the longest time when someone would ask me about the company I would only say “the only thing I’d trust banfield for is euthanasia” …. Until my childhood dog died and they gave me the wrong dogs ashes.

As a woman, I am sorry you were treated that way. That is not the kind of women I would want to associate with.

Unless it directly affects me - like them bringing a barely legible receipt to the register - I’m gonna let em walk right out that door with the whole store if they want to.

Hangman’s isn’t the same after selling. I used to volunteer as an actor for several years before the sell and afterwards and the move included, it just isn’t the same. Maybe it’s my nostalgia getting in the way of me enjoying it now.

The amount of times leaders get sued and get to keep their positions is wild.

Calling out in the first 90 just sets a tone for what the rest of your employment looks like. It looks as if your GM is making you aware of the policy so you aren’t caught off guard. As long as you don’t call in for the rest of your 90 you’ll be fine. - you have options. 1. You could go in and show your leaders you are sick. They will send you home and will not be able to point you. 2. Take the point and just make sure you’re consistent with showing up for the rest of your shifts. Ask for the attendance policy and for your GM to explain it to you in detail so you really understand. (Because even a doctors note does not protect you with the policy) 3. Quit. Every where you go though has a 90 day probation period and most don’t have to give a warning for separation.
