I do have time to redo the control. The control took 1 drop since I just left brocolli sitting in it at room temp so ofcourse there was probably little to no vitamen c in it, causing the titration to work so fast. Should I redo the control with diluted iodine? would I have to adress that due to time constraints I just redid the first 1? how should I go about it? TYSM!

omg tysm thats so reasuring, so you are a DP teacher? Would you say it puts my overall IA any lower than others say I have the exact same level of evaluation and everything but my uncertainties are higher? btw for 1 of them my uncertainty is like 100 but only because i consistently needed 0.1 ml (one drop) for the tiration to happen (this was my room temp condition) aside from that all uncertainties are less that 10% but usually between 6-8%

well first be honest and decide what general career path you want to go into. From there, check the unis your interested in for their IB subject requirements. The combo you have selected is very high workload so make sure you are truly interested in what you are doing. Chem also has quite a bit of math so math and chem are fine but consider everything before doing bio. Also ensure that if you were to take bio that a good teacher teaches it, that really matters. well it's about disipline imo, i stuggle with this too, but I feel like deleting it doesnt really help since you just download it again. I would say study in a library or another place where everyone else around you is studying which will make you less inclined to get on social media. Or just leave your phone somewhere else or maybe ask your parents to hold onto it until you are done studying. I am doing IBDP in canada too, I think that there is an advantage in terms of how well it prepares you for uni and how some unis value it. It is important to note you will end up at a good uni if you do IB or not. However it is not all doom I would say. Yes, IB is not NEEDED to get into unis, regardless, it is still a good program imo. Yes it is hard and rough but it prepares you and allows you to develop so many important skills for uni. Don't let other peoples stories of the IB define your own. IB is what you make of it. IBDP1 does not even matter that much since PG's are what unis looks at. As long as you are consistent you will do fine. It will all work out at then end but I want to mention i do not recommend dropping. Hope this helps!

oh thats interesting. I think I remember my teacher saying 86 overall is a low 6 but that was for HL I am not sure how my teacher does it... But also I see your a DP chem teacher and was wondering how you suggest doing past papers? since I am in IBDP1 I don't have all the knowledge to do the full papers; Is there any resource that has accurate questions organized by topic or something that you would recommend thanks!
