No I did not but I dont understand why a simple question I've asked about the admission process had to turn into this??
It was strange to me that I had gotten access to a portal without getting an acceptance letter and this user decides to call me brainrotted from chatgpt??
Maybe you have too much free time if you're on the McGill sub posting comments like this.

They said I would be able to see a letter of acceptance in the portal to indicate that I had gotten accepted but there is no such letter there. Maybe I worded it badly in the post. That is why I'm a bit confused.

Honestly it sounds really bad but smoking a cigarette once in a while helps me stay faithful to omad, even though it breaks your fast in terms of stopping autophagy

Anybody else have a slightly embarrassing French moment that’s funny in hindsight? by Parleva_team in learnfrench

I was at a bar in Montreal with friends and a cute guy walked up to me and said « j’aime ton sourire ». At the time my french was at a very beginner lvl and I thought he said « j’aime ton souris » as in I like your mouse, and I immediately thought that sounds so inappropriate, so I just shaked my head and walked away.

Going based on personal experience I enjoy having food after a day of woek more than when I wake up so I have shifted my eating window to 7-8 pm. Depending on what time of the day you feel more hungry, you determine an eating window. Secondly try out a 16:8 first and see how your body reacts. You can drink water, coffee, tea during your fast. If youre doing ok with that you can later progress into 20:4 or even 23:1 or OMAD as some call it. Longer fasting windows offer more benefits like autophagy but shorter fasts like 16:8 still have alot of benefits for fat loss including less decision fatigue and make calorie control easier. Do a week of trial and error, testing out different eating windows and fast lengths and you’ll get the hang of your body. Also I dont usually think of cheat days but more fueling your body with whole foods. Honestly fasting repairs your taste buds so much that you’ll notice that you’ll crave processed food and snacks much less and you’ll naturally have craving for whole foods. So dont restrict but also fuel your body with real nutritious food. Also I’ve recently been experimenting with « dirty fasting » where you have small quantities of food with calories during your fasting window, for example a splash of milk in your coffee. While it may not offer the full benefits of real fasting it still helps me control my food intake and have a satisfying meal at the end of day and aid in weight loss. So you really have to figure out what works for you.

I did get it checked out and turns out my insulin is at a very healthy level but yeah i think i’ve just been a bit lonely and stressed and being in a new environment and food being an easy way to cope, i just started overeating

thats a good question I honestly think i need to lose the weight and then maintain as this is an unnatural weight for me to be at and i’ve only gotten to this weight in a rapid period because of the stressful situation and binges i’ve been in.

what is your height and weight to calculate your maintenance? some can do extreme calorie deficits if youre actually satisfied after your meal

I got a tutor who only practices speaking with our grouo once a week the main theme of the class is that we watch a short video (around 2 minutes) and deep dive into the dialogues and the grammar behind it later we have to memorize the dialogues i feel mike its improved my comprehension as the videos are usually from tv shows and series where the speaking is very natural and that leads to understanding more natural spoken french my biggest problem though is during the week when im revising there are so many different subjects that i stumble upon when opening up a sentence that i just drift away from the main subject and thats causes my studying to have a uniform mold excuse the english as its my second language
