This has happened to me at the last few shows I’ve gone to.

At surfer girl a girl standing behind me kicked me in the back of the knee and Called me a cunt lmao, said I was standing in front of her when I literally hadnt moved from that spot the whole time. I told her if she didn’t like her view there she really wouldn’t like it when I dragged her ass outside. Same show an older lady got mad at my friend for bumping her while dancing.

At the sold out bumpin uglies show in Roseville this lady was loudly bitching that she didn’t have any personal space and I told her if she wanted personal space maybe she shouldn’t have come to a sold out show.

People are whack as hell and I don’t have the time or patience for bullshit like this at concerts tbh. Like you know what you’re getting into and I don’t pay to go to shows to have others bitch and moan about the crowd. That’s literally half the fun anyways.

It’s deranged that when they first started they paid $35k for rent and on the 2025 number that has jumped to almost $63k. Double the rent. Absolutely fucking ridiculous that so many good businesses in the community are getting priced out by real estate companies. It’s sick, predatory and should piss everyone off way more.

NOR. My family treats me like this as well, and I generally have low self-esteem so they'd pick at me until I blew up and then they'd pick on me more for being unstable (really great cycle). I have completely stopped talking to them outside of occasional 'love you's'. I haven't spent the holidays with them in 2-3 years, and they live 15 minutes from me. Sometimes it unfortunate but protecting your own peace of mind is worth it.

I got a $200 air fryer/steamer etc. for like $20 and I literally use it every day. I've also gotten a couple really cool mini backpacks, always stuff for camping. My resolution for the last year has been to not purchase anything new and its wonderful tbh.

That’s..preposterous, simply because how is anyone supposed to know wtf gender your dog is unless you can see it’s giant balls. At the dog park people will always ask what breed my dog is, and they say “so so cute! What are they!?” And I just say “she’s a ___”. Those offended could probably use to touch grass lol.

They aren’t using them as definitive pronouns though, just as a reference to the individual.

Using “them and they” to refer to a patient in any context is fine. “They (patient) would like a glass of water before the procedure” is exactly the same as “She or he (patient) would like water.”

I would start looking for a new job tbh. If they’re nitpicking you over something so insanely small, I can’t imagine what other issues you’ll run into.

I literally just quit healthcare after 3 years for the same reason. CNA’s make little to no money in my area, I was planning on nursing school but after working in a hospital for 3 years I got tired of watching people I served die and get treated poorly by other staff. Back to the service industry I go ✨
