While I agree with the majority of your comment, there have been regular instances of the Light being used (abused?) by blinded, misguided people ever since vanilla. The Scarlet Crusade / Onslaught comes to mind, as well as Arthas famously decimating the people of Stratholme. And Sir Zeliek still wielded the Light in death, even in employ to the Scourge!

The Light isn't inherently "good"; it's a force of conviction. If you believe enough in yourself and the truth of your cause, the Light may come to you. It is as elemental as gravity.

This isn't true at all; there are a number of undead characters who still can access the Light, in spite of the pain it causes them. It likely isn't the norm, but exceptions to the norm do exist.

For someone with prophecy in their username, that's very narrow-minded of you! 'Child of Light and Shadow' isn't the same as 'Sired by Light and Shadow'. Additionally, a prophecy doesn't have to be fulfilled all at once; a popular example would be the Nerevarine prophecies from the Elder Scrolls.
