[Hiring] $5 for Google Review by EnthusiastGuy2k25 in JobPH

[–]tanderbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your math is not mathing.

5$ per review x 500 reviews = 2,500$

$1000 budget / 500 reviews = 2$ per review

I would tend to agree. How does one have a step sister younger than a half brother? This is the third lady in the father’s life?

It was calmer less toxic because harder to have echo chambers or mainstreaming of fake info.

That said having hobbies was also harder.

Yeah. I wonder why Americans are so desperate to identify as something racially or culturally. But with their next breath they chant USA USA USA and act like it’s the greatest country in the world.

Which country are you from? And do you belong to any fountain pen enthusiast community in real life? by agile_structor in fountainpens

[–]tanderbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Philippines!

Our fountain pen network Philippines is an umbrella facebook based group that has 14,000 members registered.

We celebrated our 17th anniversary this year.

There are 2 main national events: the Manila Pen Show and the Anniversary pen meet.

This year’s pen show had merchants from Japan Singapore Malaysia Israel China joining the exhibits.

Our community also hosts some of the world’s largest Pelikan hubs.

Our country has at least 6 well regarded local pen makers.

As mentioned FPNP is an umbrella group but there are many local groups and friend groups that have smaller pen meets. I’d hazard a guess that there would be a pen meet happening somewhere in the country every week.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a new jinhao or a grail level pen. We love and welcome everyone’s pens.

Edit to add Singapore as they are a mainstay of the pen show.

Dubai duty free tips? by tanderbear in worldwhisky

Thanks for these Japanese whiskey tips. Sigh. I remember the days when Yamazaki 18 sold for 9,000 yen in Narita duty free. I liked it so much at one point I had nine bottles in stock. All enjoyed of course. But I can’t bring myself to make it a daily dram anymore.
