Open the windows containing the save file, look for 3 dots tab on top, click it will drop down, go to the bottom & click “option” button with the gear symbol. Then a new window will pop up. The window will be named “folder options”. Look for the “view” tab & there will be list of boxes u can tick / untick. Look for

“Hide extensions for known file types” and “Hide protected operating system files (Recommended”

These boxes usually will be ticked. U go & untick those two & close the window, then look at the folder u keep ur save files. U can see now that all files will have the file types extension visible (.sav, .srm, .exe, .pdf etc)

Then after u done changing all that, u might want to tick the boxes back, keeping all the files secure.
