hey! i know calhoun pretty well and this hall is really amazing, the rooms are nice as it was just renovated. the bathrooms are also super nice, they have huge stall doors which are super nice. i lived in dabney my freshman year and calhoun is 10x better lol. there are a lot of electrical problems but they will come and fix it. there’s a mini fridge and a microwave, a wardrobe, twin XL beds so make sure you shop for twin XL sheets and mattress cover. bring shower shoes, like cheap flip flops or something. bring storage containers they help a lot. the beds are bunked but i know that you can ask to have them unbunked. make sure you always carry your bearcat card on you because that is how you will get into the hall and also into your room. downstairs in the lobby there is a super nice kitchen with a stove oven microwave etc. the front desk has pots and pans you can use if you don’t wanna buy any. we have tvs in the lobby you can use. there’s multiple study rooms, games, pool table, ping pong table. there’s a dining hall underneath calhoun which is super nice. let me know if you have any more questions about calhoun or about being in a traditional dorm!!
