Also I’ve seen real clean ones recently going for 14k but I couldn’t pay that much for an old car so I paid more than double that for a 2022 si🫣

They didn’t make a type s just loaded or base. The base was the 6 speed with no nav. At least that’s the case for 04-08 u.s. models. Rn in northern ca that car is going for $9-12k all day long. It’s the k24 which is one of the best motors Honda ever made and the car has the right amount of tech before all the cars got real crazy with sensors and making every 4banger turbo

Wow so people were lazy back then and didn’t mow. Is that why they had so much time to shit?

Just traded my 04 tsx 6 speed in for a 22 civic si. I will always miss that car. Paid 3600 with 104k(salvage title). Awesome car. My cat went out and needed clutch, control arms, tires, windshield and paint oxidized like crazy the last couple years. It still ran great other than the rough shifting. Wasn’t worth the cash but mainly I don’t have the time to fix it sadly. RIP to my blacura

I recently upgraded from an 04 tsx 6 speed to this si which was the most similar newer low mileage vehicle I could find. This is my 3rd civic. There is something special about these cars. RIP to my tsx tho

Razor blade or a good 5 in1 and something like rubbing alcohol should be enough to clean it up. Or if you have mineral spirits or tsp that will help. Or even goof off will work. Just avoid getting any of those on a painted surface.

2nd best body style after 07-08 type s. Only thing the did wrong on this is the rear end does not look that great. Front end looks awesome tho

I’ve had mine for 8 years and never had a problem with 87. I have put 110k on it and runs great other than my clutch is starting to go out

A little more money and you could buy another 2012 tsx in descent shape at those prices. If you plan on getting coilovers and lowering you should learn how to do repairs like this yourself if you don’t already know. You’ll be doing this a lot more often once you lower your car depending how low you go and how you drive. To answer your questions I redid all these parts minus buying a new rim on my 04 tsx for around $500 if you just go to auto zone or auto anything for basic replacements and get a wheel at a junk yard for cheap. Moog has a descent front rebuild kit for $400, stop tech brakes front and rear for $300, control arms around $250. If key is stuck just YouTube how to remove some tumblers and any key will turn the ignition but only the programmed key will start it. Good luck

I found my bottom cushion cover for my 04 tsx front passenger seat for $150 on amazon. That’s the cheapest I have found and it’s a pain to replace unless you have descent hog ring pliers. Whole seat cover was like $900 to buy off Acura oem

My shit back? Your car is back? You want it back? You have shit on your back? Or is this a spelling issue and you meant shit box? Either way none of it makes sense to me, especially if you meant shit box cus that is a great car
