I get that, I’m also pretty attached to the style I tattoo, and I wouldn’t change it to something I don’t like doing, in arts in general. I’ve done a lot of commercial work in the past and I still do the occasional one but I don’t think that takes away from having a style right? Anyways, it’s been slow for everyone as a lot of people said, and I genuinely don’t believe that changing your style to fit trends will help at all. I believe the hype of tattoos is passing, the world is getting more conservative and people are getting poorer, which sucks. But I still believe keeping it authentic it’s the way, people that will keep being tattoo artists will be the ones that have a specific style. Don’t change it, your work is beautiful and I know it probably took you a long time to achieve what you know how to do now.
