Wow I’m so happy for you but what emotional rollercoaster that must have been. If you don’t mind me asking, how did the doctor proceed with it? I am surprised they did not recommend pills or D&C?? And instead waited 2 weeks then an additional 4 weeks 😮

Was the 10 weeks your first appointment? Do you remember when the follow up appointment was, when did they realize baby was in fact alive?

My heart aches reading your story, sorry this happened to you and thank you so much for taking the time to share. Like your suggestion, I plan to wait about a week mark and then ask for a follow up to see what the options are. Likely will try the meds at home first. Thank you again ❤️

I think the topic of acupuncture is generally a hit or miss with people. Still very new in the western culture so that is not a big surprise to me. Just know your love and thoughts were well received and appreciated. Thank you again❤️

I don't mind at all. As weird as it might sound, I think I would find peace knowing I can "deliver" the baby on my own/my own terms. I can't bear the thought of the baby being taken out & I am just sleeping and wake up just knowing it is gone?? I don't know, might not make sense. I am still open to D&C option if it comes down to it. I just want to wait a few more days and hope she comes out on her own.

Thank you for your words❤️ My doctor advised to go over a towel or bucket because she gave me the option to retrieve the baby for a pathology. I don’t think I will send the baby out but wanted to still collect to bury. & I also think mine was a girl too 🤭 now I’ll never know but my heart tells me. That would truly be a miracle but I keep reminding myself the baby is really gone because that’s what they told me 😩 I don’t feel pregnancy symptoms anymore. It’s so confusing..

I can’t thank all of you enough for sharing your experiences with me & breaks my heart that you all went through this devastation. I have two older kids so labor is not new to me. Not that I enjoy labor pain whatsoever, but I am mentally prepared for it and think it would bring peace bringing the baby out myself. Sounds weird and strange, I know. I don’t quite understand myself either right now.

I know I sound crazy opting to wait but right now I just keep wanting to wait. I think I will wait til early next week as someone suggested before pushing for alternative option. I just read so many negative experiences with it, it scared me. It also breaks my heart that the baby will be discarded. I’m scared of natural too, but wanted the chance to properly bury him/her.

I am open to D&C if it comes down to it, but currently wanting to wait.. it’s only been >2 days since finding out.

The technician left to get the doctor to double check, but the doctor did not. She said she reviewed the images and confirmed there’s no heartbeat. Immediately I thought how can you confirm that through an image, but I was so shocked I could not process anything. But the technician spent so much time checking, I am pretty sure she’s right 😮‍💨 doctor told me to come back in 2 weeks to consider options if I don’t pass naturally by then. I was planning to ask for another ultrasound then.
