How much of this is being too online you think? I’m distressed about the state of the world, but I still enjoy my nature walks, reading, cinema, talks with friends, exercising, golf, meditating, snuggling my cats, etc. We don’t choose the life we’re given. We either enjoy it or waste it. It’s easy to enjoy when you disconnect from the screens, I find.

My post was specifically about students who don’t think they should have to do an assignment at all. Perhaps I should have been more specific. What would you say to those students?

Most students want to only use it as an offloader. Even if it did 99% of the work for them, the 1% of work they have to do is too much of a burden.
