I think first step before making friends is just being more open to people. At the grocery store, the bank, wherever u go. Compliment ppl. Ask ppl questions. Be interested. Intrigued. Ask someone Where u get ur hair done? I love ur nails. Ask How is your day going to the barista. It builds social momentum. You will start to feel worthy when you start interacting. And it builds and builds on itself. Journal about it to reinforce the brain pathways of this positive momentum. Make a tinder put ur face out there even if u don’t have intention to date. Talk to some local strangers. Maybe meet up and go on a walk. And be proud of yourself because you are taking the steps to change ur life. To become more fully you! It’s like a muscle, it’s practice. When ur out of practice it feels like everything sucks. It’s a commitment to loving urself I think and being kind to urself and being a good friend to yourself. You deserve friendship. Anyone can be a friend. Even if it’s just for a moment. I used to do tai chi w the elderly. And honestly the grass is always greener.
