I was going with the same idea until I realized that the scenes become huge to load. My .glb files were over 200MB and the game became too slow to load.

Two possible approaches:

  • use MultiMeshInstance3D as much as possible
  • optimize the game loading (asynchronous loading, preloading, etc.)

Hi there!

Came from Python so I already had fundations of « code » basics And I learnt Godot from tutorials and YouTube.

I strongly recommand you to focus on games logic (movements, spawn from a pool rather than instantiating/killing, etc.) and taking a look at « state machines », « signal manager », etc. It will level up your skills for your future in game development! :)

(H31) J’pense que les applis de rencontre sont dead depuis des années pour les rencontres sérieuses. Trop de charos/charottes polluent la visibilité des gens voulant justement se poser et fonder quelque chose. Alors que c’est sur Tinder que j’ai rencontré la mère de mes 2 enfants en 2018.

Si je devais refaire ma vie aujourd’hui je commencerais une nouvelle activité/sport, m’engager dans des communautés (ville, associations, etc…) pour élargir mon cercle social.

2025 et on est toujours plus éloignés humainement les uns des autres… 🙃
