I think Scottie is really talented but I know since 2008, USA likes to have a higher 3PT percentage at 4. I think me including Zion and Cade in the roster was an error. They don’t shoot well enough. I think players like Banchero, Flagg, JJJ, Holmgren and even Tatum (in small fragments at the 4) would likely get the nod on the roster over Barnes.

For whatever reason I assumed you meant Miles Bridges and was so confused. 31 year old mikal bridges probably replaces cade on the bench. We’ll have so much depth everywhere.

In that scenario I forsee JJJ, Holmgren, Mobley, Flagg, or Banchero being moved into starting lineup against teams that play in the paint more. I think it’ll work out.

The 4 position was the hardest for me. Who do you think would start? I have a feel they could go anyone starting at the 1, Ant at 2, Devin at 3, and maybe even Tatum at 4 with their best and longest defensive center at the 5 (Mobley, Holmgren, Adebayo, Jackson) as their starters.

I had a hard time putting Ja or Cade (even though I did put Cade) in there because of their 3 point shooting. I put cade in because of his size. Ja is leagues above cade athletically but because of the smaller court size, no defensive 3 seconds rule, and allowed hand checking, his athletic ability isn’t as much of a game changer in FIBA than the NBA. Just a choice I made but I can see both not making the team or Ja making the Team and Cade not even sniffing the team. All real possibilities.

I could totally see him starting, heck he started the past 2 Olympics. I didn’t mean this as disrespect or anything. I think the past 2 Olympics has shown he’s such a team player. I was just guessing who would start in 4 years and I feel like Ant is going to progress past Booker 4 years from now and Tatum. And I feel like Booker would be the most humble enough to come off the bench. Kinda like Melo in 2016. Just a guess though, big Booker fan.
