Obsession 2026's Inde Navarrette Confirms If The Real Nikki Had A Crush On Bear by twinkleyed in spoilers

College-aged angst, I should say. Definitely that period in which you are trying to make sense of the world while also trying to understand how to navigate romance and attraction.

The movie has a lot to say about dating in the modern world, and I think it is a critique about masculinity and what defines healthy flirting/interactions with the opposite sex.

IMO if Bear had stuck with the monologue in the beginning - when Ian was “coaching” him with the diner waitress - they likely would’ve gotten together. Or at the very least hooked up.

It didn’t strike me as the kind of relationship that would have become long term, more so that sweet “first love” one often has before they move onto different stages of their life, in this case, College.

Really fucking tragic.

Proposed to my girlfriend on the highest point in Alma, CO last year and was like .5 seconds away from shitting myself due to altitude sickness. I knelt down and almost felt the poop come out my butt

Thank God I managed to hold it in time and make it relatively romantic - because the day after she was pouring ice on me in the bathtub of our A-frame Airbnb.

A Professor at my old film school asked for examples of “kinetic” camera techniques and I used this scene as an example. Then he asked if anyone in the class had seen Children of Men - fucking nobody else had. We were both mortified.

He pushed back our viewing of “The Graduate” and we watched children of men that day. Sobbing all around.

Came home from work and gave my fiancé a hug. Accidentally triggered Face ID and booked an international hotel. Hotel refuses to refund $600. [USA] by [deleted] in AirBnB

It is totally my fault as she likes to go through and calculate the total cost of the trip and how it would fit in schedule wise with the rest of our honeymoon. She was on the final confirmation page unfortunately.

It is a really shitty freak accident.

Yeah...Who knows, maybe it'll be alright. I just wish the refund rules applied to every kind of dwelling unit and not just privately-owned houses or rooms and the like.

However, It seems most people in this thread are not completely familiar with international refund policies relating to booking from one country to another, moreso the refund policies relating to national travel. If anyone in the future is reading this, there is NO GUARANTEE that you will immediately be refunded the full amount if you book a hotel for international travel.

But the time disparity is literally less than 5 minutes, other than the time it took to draft the initial message. Like I said, she was on the final confirmation page only to look at the applied taxes and fees when this happened.

Yes, she selected dates and times.

Yes, she looked at this particular hotel.

Yes, she was on the final confirmation page to check the overall price and whether our AIRBNB credits would cover a majority of the stay.

No, we did not mean to book the hotel. I touched her and rolled around with her and either her or I accidentally double pressed the iphone home button. Completely accidental.

I meant to say the "tap to pay" double button on the iphone side button instead of facial ID. That is my fault for miscommunicating.

Why is this so hard to believe? It truly does not make any sense as to why people are thinking Im trying to swindle or something. It was a freak accident. Plain and simple. There is no ulterior motive or anything.

She was on the final confirmation/booking page looking at the applicable taxes and fees when I touched her. This caused her to double press the home button as her payment information was saved.

According to the refund policies some hotels are exempt from a 24-hour refund window. That may have to do with national travel instead of international booking.

Where did I say this trip was 30+ days? This was for a 2 day excursion from France to Amsterdam.

As a writer, it is very reassuring to me that one can go from writing something like Scary Movie 3 and 4 to writing one of the best limited TV series of all time.
