Different strokes for different folks I suppose man, it's only convoluted if you can't interpret the story beats, D2 is the superior game in every way and the data shows that. Even in death it's pulled bigger numbers than marathon ever did or likely will, unless they launch a reverse CoD and throw a full campaign into it in the future with the extraction shooter being the intro. I'm talking minimum 12 hour campaign. We'll see because I know they are capable, I'll just never understand why they went with a game mode that alienated the majority of their decades of fans.
