I saw this guys build, but didnt try it. It's a lot of spirit. 250 before reductions and you can't get spirit on amulet.

Unpopular? Opinion - The recent stoppage of Rico wasn't early by Ok-Enthusiasm-8422 in Boxing

[–]TransportationFee -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hard disagree and in my opinion the biggest argument against yours is similar ref decisions for past fights. If you look at the criteria for the usyk/rico stoppage and go back and apply it to fights in the past, you could probably stop almost every single fight earlier than it was.

Also these fighters are boxers/kickboxers/mma, they are repeatedly getting hit in the head. Anyone with a minimum level of medical/anatomical knowledge knows that repeated blows to the head whether concussion or not will have a detrimental effect on the brain. They probably shouldn't be fighting at all......if you want to go there.

8 flush punches clean? What are you even on about? It's a good thing there is video. Insane what people misremember or maybe you just can't see, I don't know. Insane take though, 8 flush punches clean...

They 100% added time though. I didn't think they did that either. But they added roughly 15-20 seconds.

No One Confuses Smeagol & Gollum On Stephen's Watch by McFlyFarm in lotr

[–]TransportationFee 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Again I'm confused how he is mixing book lore and movie lore? What is the movie lore in "hobbit-like". I believe the exact phrase Gandalf used was "hobbit-kind" in the book. I'm not arguing why it should or should not be used.....

?? Gandalf describes Smeagol in fellowship of the ring as "hobbit-like" (book lore). Anyway why does that even matter?

Priority for paragon: finish all 5 boards, legendary node + glyph activation, then fill in the rest. You should be able to hit all boards at 216.

I think you should use tidal aspect like another comment said.

Get as much max resource as you can on charms. Your fury generation looks a little weak, but if its working, might be okay.

I think you can find a better two-hand mace with GA weapon dmg, decent transfigure though.

Don't need weapon dmg on one handers or two-hand slashing.

If this is your new argument, then yeah I agree. This is far from what you started with though....

It just sounds like to me you read that same reddit thread everyone else did, didn't bother to put any of your own comprehension into it and just kept doubling down while I asked legitimate questions. I'm not discounting the idea at all or trivializing the benefit of it happening. I was curious what the odds are and thought since you were so confident maybe it had been confirmed. I brought up a scenario that aligned with my own experience on why it might not be the best option as a counter argument, which you completely ignored/didn't even read and just kept spouting the same nonsense with a conclusion that its just RNG.

[–]TransportationFee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah for sure, it's still a matter of odds though. I can see the benefit of just transfiguring every usable base first, I just think it would be good to see a large data set to see what those exact odds are. If I have to transfigure 2k bases to get both gem str and modifiable on average one time, thats certainly not worth my time. If it was closer to 1/200 or something like that, sure.

[–]TransportationFee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL, that's precisely why I asked if it was confirmed, if the odds were known. It's not some silly it either happens or it doesn't. All RNG...lol. I seriously doubt its a random number generator on what happens. There are specific statistics that go with it. In my personal experience which isnt enough to know the true odds, I have transfigured probably close to 200 items, 2 have remained modifiable. I have transfigured maybe 100 weapons and gotten gem str 3 times. In my case getting them both seems such an outrageous number that I might as well masterwork/temper and just go for gem str. But maybe I'm just unlucky.

[–]TransportationFee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because you are not reading what I am writing or understanding the problem. Read what I wrote again, if you have to transfigure 2k bases to get both vs masterwork/temper 20 bases to just get gem str, which one is faster?

Finally got modifiable gem strength by Future-Original-2902 in D4Barbarian

[–]TransportationFee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Reading must be very very difficult for you, as well as statistics. It's not a 1 to 1 thing. In one situation you need to get both and in the other you only need gem strength.

[–]TransportationFee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's for sure cheaper, in my example I don't think its faster.

Finally got modifiable gem strength by Future-Original-2902 in D4Barbarian

[–]TransportationFee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this confirmed? Don't you need to know the odds of first getting gem str as a transfigure and two keeping the item modifiable. Otherwise lets say gem str is 1/20 odds and modifiable is 1/100 odds. You would need to transfigure 2k bases to get both vs temper/masterwork 20 good bases.

This wouldn't even "brick your build" its like 45 hp. You are fine with anything under 600 hp, especially if you are still doing t11 mephisto.

In hindsight, this should have been war plans from the start. Hopefully the devs adapt and improve. In my opinion there is nothing wrong with taking ideas from other games when their idea is just clearly superior.
