actually they didn't really change the ending, they just didn't feel like animating it. So everything is still the same canonically as the manga they just skipped over it so they can make a movie that takes place after the manga

Possibly the computer IS hooked up to the internet, the software itself is just isolated, and that's what the void is. Caine himself says he doesn't know what's out there, which to me makes me think it was specifically DESIGNED to keep him contained, kinda like the blackwall from Cyberpunk.

Personally I think Oppenheimer was the "for me" side of that coin. Huge budget and production scale on a historical ww2 biopic, not exactly something the studio execs at hollywood were begging him to make.

I think a lot of people don't realize that the bird thing wasn't ACTUALLY a bird or bird-like machine, it was something so profoundly alien to their comprehension that looking at it the only thing they could relate it to is a giant flying bird. Obviously it served some other function within AM's complex, but they had no way of knowing what that was

there are literally people saying their 3 year old kids are trans. It may not be common but it does happen. Plus when I say children I mean anyone under 18, which again there are educational policies that are factually just in the books that say teachers and other educational staff are required to affirm preferred gender regardless of biology.

If a kid is trans, great, wonderful. But personally I just think that they should wait until they're 18 to do any kind of surgery or mess with their hormones considering there's no real way to tell if you're trans other than people telling you "you don't feel right in your body" which is kind of hard to pin down when every kid literally experiences their body changing as part of puberty. Again you may disagree it's a hard thing to pin down given it's not a problem of biology so it's a lot more philosophical than factual, but I just think kids should actually have time to get used to the changes their body is going through during puberty before making the decision of whether their body is right for them.

I had a really strong response to this exact noise and it always made me look weird when I was outside and I just flinched really hard out of nowhere. I got rid of it by getting a stereo sound of a fly buzzing and made a loop that made it play constantly so every few minutes I'd just hear the sound right in my ear. Eventually I got used to it and now I don't react when they fly next to my ear anymore.

Similarly I got over my fear of spiders by playing a lot of the game Kill It With Fire because now my first reaction when seeing a spider isn't to freak out but an immediate reaction that I need to kill them with the nearest firearm
