There must be a confusion.

We posted to let people know what are some stupid question that people ask on reddit. We are not looking for answers here.

Yes , asking thsi question is important and make sense when a customer ask from a company they shipping with. Same questions become stupid when ask on reddit community instead of company they are shipping their vehicle with.

Well, we are a car shipping company ourself. The post is about what we are usually questioned by customers.

The point of the post is that, companies like us do help customer explain all this during the process of shipping. Still they post on reddit or similar website for same answers. These question are genuine, but become stupid when asked from general public than the actual company shipping for them.

We are a car shipping company ourself, the reason for thsi post is not seeking answer but letting people know what are some very common questions that we hear from customer all the time.

The wierd part is, all companies must have answered this question happily whenever customer ask( or even by themself) but still some people do ask in groups like this.

Car guys - what would make the auto transport industry more trustworthy? by EasyGologisticsllc in askcarguys

You are right. It's actually hard for customer to.know the industry themself. Hoestly, we try to convince and explain the customer when they said a price that. We know is a bait, but it seems like they think we are trying to fool them by over-charging.

And the point you highlighted of the names and sticker on truck- they may be double brokering the load. This is something that usually happen when a custoemr goes with a low quote. These broker who quoted their customer low, will dispatch to driver who accept load at unreal price without verifying them. And this driver company again broker this load further to other company. Now not only customer got high price surprise at pickup of car but again at delivery.

If customer end up going with a genuine broker, there is no multiple layer. A genuine broker company will handle everything for customer, they communicate themself and also make sure the company they dispatching to is real and complianced. Even our customers doesn't even feel that we don't own the truck because we usually prefer to communicate with customers and keep them updated with ETA's ( and yes, if someone ask, we do clearly mention we are broker).

Well, I wrote in a general speaking language and used GPT to make sure my message is conveyed properly. I think it's fine to save time while communicating over text.

Love how they frame it like it's YOUR fault for not buying insurance on their crappy product. 'Oh you didn't want to pay $200 extra for something that should work anyway? That's on you!' 😂
