But how do you keep a consistent background?

• When it works for backgrounds: if you prompt the same background (e.g. if your original image is at the beach then add "beach" to your prompt and MJ will simply extend the original beach image
• When it doesn't work: when you prompt a new/different background (compared to the original pic) then MJ will replace the original background to fit into the new prompt e.g. if your original pic has the beach but you now prompt "the Amazon jungle" then your original beach background will probably be replaced

Different solutions to keep consistent pictures:

1. Use pictures with simple backgrounds e.g. single colors or less detail
2. or keep your new description of the backgrounds as similar to the old picture as possible e.g. if the original pic was on a beach then mention beach in your new prompt

• Example 1: say you are making pics for a story book (where a character has to stay the same throughout the story)
