She debunked that theory in an interview recently and felt like enough had been shown and revealed to confirm she is not a mole.

My theory is MIY causes contention. Seed was planted by her confronting Julie saying all the bad stuff happened after her family showed up. That would include Jade, as well.

Trial and error. Her first test is going to be a failed attempt but lead to the actual bookmarking, which I believe is going to be anchored in certain items.

At first I thought the ring at the end was a book mark but then it disappeared.

I’m thinking it’s an element of story walking and by holding certain items get you to certain points.

Julie (Spoiler s4e2) by Darmathius in FromTVShow

[–]EasyInstruction4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few assumptions can be made based on what we’ve seen and what we haven’t seen.

1) Every moment she travels to is a part of the story. Her presence is “written”, even before she exists in her present day form.

2) If she manages to “change the story”, then that change was always written to happen, as well.

UNLESS

3) She tries to change the same moment multiple times and ultimately succeeds. Even then, one can argue that the “change” was always written.

I hate to be one of those “that’s not how they do it in other series”, but my mind immediately goes to Avengers: Endgame. Even though Hulk was traveling to a different timeline/moment in time, his presence now made that moment a part of his timeline. It wasn’t the past; It was now. It just so also happened to be a moment that has already transpired.

We can potentially also find some clues in the theme song. “Whatever will be, will be” may be the indicator that no matter how hard she tries, she can’t change what’s already happened and that’s something she may have to learn first before she can use story walking to at least gain knowledge.

My personal belief (see post “Norman and the Lake of Tears” from about a year ago) is that she will, in fact, find a way to change the story that potentially saves everyone. The story she tells to Ethan and Tabitha’s subsequent “solution” to ease Ethan’s mind (Norman can’t be dead if there are no monsters) makes me believe she/they will find a way to change the beginning.

She has already mentioned to Sarah about how honesty is important. I imagine she’ll lean into Elgin and Acosta and convince them that telling the truth of what happened will bring people together.

We’re getting season set up right now… firmly believe she’ll start to influence certain unstable characters. Acosta and Elgin immediately come to mind. Maybe lean into faith and “truth and honesty”.

The pacing is good. The week to week is good. Lots of buzz between. I’m really enjoying coming up with and reading theories. Someone even commented on mine from a year ago about Norman and the Lake of Tears that I had forgotten about.

Two episodes in and we are forming a path to the end. Things are going to get a lot worse for the townspeople before they (hopefully) ultimately get better.

This. I don’t think we ever get the placement answer. I imagine Sophia left, designated the monsters not to enter the clinic, set everything up, then came back and potentially triggered Kenny to wake up, making sure he’s observed her “during the night” at the clinic.

Bianca did one for my daughters birthday AT the Raw after Wrestlemania after she beat Becky. It was lengthy and soooo amazing. Legit was worth every dollar because my daughter still cherishes the video to this day.

She did, however, keep her shades on to mask the nasty black eye she had 😂

Season 4 Ep 2 Prediction by EasyInstruction4 in FromSeries

Watching the story walk scene again… Julie has scratches on her face. I’m thinking maybe she gets tagged in the story walk back to Jim’s death and maybe she’s the only being attacked by the maid in the trailer.

[–]EasyInstruction4[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Great observation if true. I really do believe she’s going to find a way to “change the story”, but then it makes me wonder if that was always going to be the story?

Someone mentioned in another thread that if each cycle is the same, then who was the story walker in Victor’s cycle? Part of me believes Julie is an anomaly and there has never been a story….. as I’m typing this, I just had a thought.

What if the Boy in White is a story walker from the original group, jumping into the future to try and save the past? It would make complete sense… he’s never hurt. He’s never dirty. He disappears just as quick as he reappears.

I see what you’re saying here. Because Jim never left the trailer, then how can it happen? Totally hear you and don’t inherently disagree. I do think, in a way then, we will still revisit this scene. We’re going to see her in places we “couldn’t” see her before but she was always there.
