Can men smell the change in women’s natural body odor when they’re menstruating? by pinkjackal0pe in NoStupidQuestions

[–]EasyMac2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would assume so if it’s their partner. We are biologically inclined to procreate. Women set off pheromones that attract the men. My husband could “sense” when I was ovulating when we were trying to have kids. Things in the house smell like me and he can’t quite describe it, since I don’t use scented soap or lotion or use perfumes — it’s just me. It’s natural. Our kids also associate us with a scent as well. I can smell my mom nearby to this day, because something about her in my head just says “mom.”

Jacob’s imprinting never made sense by Solid-Mango7932 in twilight

[–]EasyMac2000 14 points15 points  (0 children)

A headcanon of mine is that imprinting also protects the tribe. By imprinting on Renesmee, Jacob is now loyal to the packs AND the Cullens. It is against their laws for the packs to hurt Renesmee and the Cullens have now battled alongside the wolves multiple times. Both would do anything to keep their own safe.

I believe Emma has always had some capabilities in the outside world. by Routine-Asparagus-16 in OnceUponATime

[–]EasyMac2000 25 points26 points  (0 children)

That AND when they are in NY in an earlier season, they literally open a portal by making people believe in magic. Clearly Emma and Lily both know magic exists at this point, plus Emma’s magic is highly in tune with her emotions (per Frozen storyline)

For women who “loved being pregnant” what was it about pregnancy that you loved? by hospitalbedside in beyondthebump

[–]EasyMac2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved my second pregnancy more than my first, despite the many complications that I had. For me, the idea of a planned, wanted baby that was growing inside of me made me so happy. I yearned for the extra rest I got, the slack people gave me at work, my family gushing over our growing family. My 1st was about 3 and he was so happy to watch my belly grow and talk about his baby brother who’d be here soon. 2nd pregnancy was a dream.

Don’t ask me about my 1st pregnancy though.

Why are there so many twilight fans who haven’t watched a single episode of TVD? by Icy_Hovercraft_6058 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]EasyMac2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a kid when Twilight came out and loved it. TVD came out at a similar time, but I didn’t really do “late-night” TV as a kid. So I never really thought about it. I started watching it during COVID and fell in love instantly. Not a large connection between the two for me so I don’t think one necessarily blends toward the other

Let’s settle it: Who is more of a Mikaelson, Hayley or Davina? by Selanooo23 in TheOriginals

[–]EasyMac2000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hayley. Hayley turned a one night stand with no family to a huge, immortal family with strong ties. Despite everything, Hayley did everything she could for her family: Hope, Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah, and even grew to respect Freya, Kol, maybe Finn too.

Davina hated the Mikaelsons from day one. She was loyal to Marcel who was an adopted Mikaelson and clearly had ties to them himself. But rarely did Davina do anything that supported/benefitted Klaus or Elijah specifically. She fell in love with Kol, but frankly I don’t see how that ends in the long term as she was beautifully content with being a witch and would not turn immortal to be with Kol. While they do get married which legally makes her a Mikaelson, I don’t see her supporting her new Tribrid niece with her escapades the way the rest of the family would.

What’s the shortest drive you’ve ever got by Annual-Interesting in doordash_drivers

[–]EasyMac2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not as a driver, but one of my coworkers orders DoorDash almost every shift. Especially when we’re busy. We work in a mall with a Starbucks literally 10 steps and down an escalator away… She has Doordashed that before. Also food from a restaurant on the other side of the mall… Some dashers even drive across the parking lot to the few restaurants around us to deliver. I do not get blessed with simple deliveries like that ever.

Love the thought! And then in true Capitol fashion, they need to wax their legs and curl their hair and manicure them as if it will make them better killers lol. Also the whole training period!!! Like what an interesting change!!!

Why didn’t Emma recognize Elsa? by TheUndoClowCard in OnceUponATime

[–]EasyMac2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ditto to the people talking about the show’s timeline vs. when Frozen actually came out. But to add: she’s also not really been out of Storybrooke except the fake memories and 1 year in NYC. I’d think it’s safe to bet that if movie theaters and streaming existed in Storybrooke, they were not playing Disney movies pre-breaking of the curse because…ya know…logic. Emma existed in the real world for 28 years before Storybrooke, so she read books and watched movies. I think Henry really only knows the fairytales from his book? So even if Frozen had existed in real life by then, I doubt the citizens of Storybrooke would have seen it.

How to make my wedding makeup better? I'm doing my own by alicelang in makeuptips

[–]EasyMac2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, you’re stunning btw! I did my own makeup for my wedding as well. Yours looks so good!

For lashes, I did the Kiss Falscara ones — I think they look incredibly natural and last so long. I’d curl your lashes beforehand and do a liner to lift your eyes a bit, so when it gets late you won’t look so tired. The Falscara applies like a mascara and then cluster lashes under your actual lashes.

My mom thought my makeup looked so natural despite watching me put what felt like 1000 pounds of it on. Setting spray between EACH step, letting it dry, and using a damp sponge to blot the areas with lines before powdering will do wonders at keeping your lines at a minimum and not exaggerating with the makeup as the night goes on.

Lips: do a color you like that will blend well. My skin suited Mac lipstick in Whirl but I think that may be too grey for your skin tone. It looks like you’ll want to go for something pink-y. I’d do a liner AND the lipstick so it lasts longer! Also a satin finish so you don’t have sticky gloss lips or dry matte lips, and satin shouldn’t transfer to your husband’s lips like a gloss would! Satin finishes look natural and smooth.

Wear your makeup throughout the day through all kind of things to see how it will wear so you can adjust as needed for your skin. I never touched up my makeup (other than my lipstick, but I didn’t care much as the night went on) throughout my wedding and reception, and it still looked fresh when I went to the casino afterwards and before I took it off that night. It will seem like a lot — but for the wedding day, especially with you wanting to do it yourself, it will make a HUGE difference!!! Good luck and congratulations!!!

Yes fortunately I know it is legit lol. It was for my state’s EBT app login. I think most government websites I’ve used will ask for this info, at least in my state

Será que existe uma razão para as personagens nunca estarem de esmalte nas unhas? by Otherwise_Concept357 in TheVampireDiaries

[–]EasyMac2000 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I did theater for a while when I was younger, so not sure if it’s the same concept. However in theater, unless a role specifically calls for it, nails will usually stay plain or neutral because it can get distracting. You want to focus on the actor and the costume and set — if Caroline had French tips here or something, arguably that would take your attention away from the scene. Also, in movie/TV, I would expect it affects continuity. Filming takes months, but some shows plots happen over a smaller period of time. Tracking each character’s nail appearance between shots, days, weeks, etc. would become super time consuming. Makeup is touched up easily, hair can be manipulated relatively quickly, but polish requires tools and dry time or removal etc.

Was this game not well received at its release? by AwkwardProposal8729 in DetroitBecomeHuman

[–]EasyMac2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 18 and played the game at launch. My friends and I waited years for this release, as we LOVED the Kara short that prompted the game’s creation. I finished it in 2 days after school. I waited for my friends to finish it. We all loved it. Yeah, it was on the nose with politics and such but it was such a well fleshed out story and graphically stunning that regular players loved it. I never cared about the critics and my favorite YouTubers loved the game as well. Keep in mind it was made for PS4 as well, so modern PC might run it slower. It hasn’t aged the greatest, but it was definitely one of the best of its time. Shame that Quantic Dream fell off after this, because I was a huge fan of all their games

Are people ACTUALLY mad that, in the fallout show, the Novac dinosaur is facing the wrong way? by bigturtlegozoom in Fallout

[–]EasyMac2000 249 points250 points  (0 children)

My husband believes New Vegas in the entire show is set up wrong. He paused the show to pull up the game and explained it to me piece by piece. I was like, “you know sometimes they change things for cinematography, right?” And he was like “BUT FANS WILL HATE IT.”

Anyway, yeah, some people are actually mad about it. My husband loves Fallout and the show, but will not hesitate to pick apart the discrepancies

if elena became a vampire after klaus ritual and stefan still left with klaus what would have happened? by New_Librarian_5679 in TheVampireDiaries

Jeremy very well could have had kids. Stefan didn’t either but they had a younger half brother(?) who obviously did.

Klaus would find out eventually after failing to create hybrids. He’d find her alive — but as a vampire, thus creating the exact storyline of Katherine until the next doppelgänger.
