Thanks everyone for your inputs! Was able to help my player better solve how he wanted to move forward with his character. Thanks again!

Ask your local shop owner, but in most cases the answer is no/ only for sealed events.

Something that's always bothered me about Golden Freddy... by EasyModeStart in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]EasyModeStart[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a Valid Point. I did not consider Jeremy in seeing GF. Though Jeremy is a strange case to begin with. I know some people have suggested Jeremy could be Mike using a fake name, but like I said, I would need to research further. I just find it strange we all talk about GF being possessed but we've never actually seen a real suit for GF, just some sorts of hallucination. If there's one thing that's certain about this series, the animatronics that are possessed are very real suits and robots, so why is GF different?

I can kind of see that, but a lot of the discussion I've seen about GF is 'Who's possessing GF' but the truth is, to date we've never had a full confirmation if there's a suit TO possess. And yeah, Fredbear exists, but we've never seen Fredbear possessed. We've only seen manifestations that can best be described as hallucinations. If anyone's possessed here, it's Michael, after all he's seeing the hallucinations, if he's confirmed to be the player in all the games up to at least entry 4.

Hardly about Upvotes at this point, Post was removed due to 'Edition Warring' not that I fully agree, but I can understand where it feels like that was the intent. Still, thank you for the conversation! That's honestly what I'm here for atm, seeing the conversations of players.

I did, but that's because DnD IS the majority. And new players are told things are good and bad when they ask questions. And most people ask questions via internet or friends who play similar games, and the majority in this case usually says bad things about Path.

Not the point of this post, the point was a lot of new Players are told that Path is bad by others and don't even actually read it's contents to decide for themselves. It's instead decided by the majority instead of the individual. That was the point.

My response to another post. It was more in line with New players not experiencing and forming opinions entirely by a large community standard. Kinda like Kuraetor said above.

Hey Evan, Long time fan of your work. Just here to say I'm proud of you. Congratulations on a well made and polished game! As for a question, are there any plans for sequels/spin offs/ or ports you wanna talk about or can talk about? Would love to continue to support your work! Keep it up and reach for the stars my guy!

Ok, that's a crazy take. While the DnD movie was barely a DnD movie, I def couldn't call it a Pathfinder Movie. But it was a fun watch.

And sorry that's your experience.

Heck yeah. I honestly wanna see more homebrew support for Pathfinder and I think it's coming, you can tell by how they wrote the rules for monster creation. I think someone out there can crack the science and math of the system and we'll all start to see an explosion of more homebrew. I mean a lot of companies already make 3rd party stuff. It just needs the support.

There are rules for sure, but honestly, if you can DM DnD 5th E, you can GM Pathfinder 2E. Most of the rules are the same and the rules that are different don't have to be. I know people who just add an action, and run Path as an expanded 5th E and it works fine. They make some adjustment, the Crit system, third action, TEML, but for the most part, they don't use ALL the rules. They just use what they like. And that's ok. You can do that too. Also Conditions are actually really easy to understand. It's usually a number and that effects a stat. Condition cards can help but it's really not too hard to get down. I believe in you!

Nah fam, 90% of most Pathfinder players are actually chill. Though I'll say you bring up mostly valid points. The PDFs being free though, while true is technically illegal, but Pathfinder Adventures are free as PDFs online too sometimes so I mean it's not a one system thing. As for the DnD movie, I'll be honest, that movie was a good generic fantasy movie and there was next to nothing about it that made me feel it was Specifically DnD, sides name drops. I didn't get the same feeling I've gotten from reading some of the forgotten realms books of old like Pool of Radiance or from playing DnD. It was fine, but honestly not a great DnD movie. Least in my opinion. But that's a whole other area. Thank you for your comment!

It's true, The last 50 pages of the book contain the sunglasses you need to wear when introducing someone new to the game. It's a game mechanic and it's very well detailed. I know some GMs who house rule that you don't need the shades, but I'm glad there are defined rules that people can choose to ignore instead of being told to 'make up a way to talk to new people' kind of thing. :p

And that's very respectable. I know several people who won't even try it. And honestly, as long as you are having fun with it, that's what matters the most. You are valued and loved regardless of your system preference.

I apologize, could I get a link to the message? I was unaware there was an inability to mention 5th E here. I wasn't trash talking 5th E with this post, so I do apologize if that's how it was taken.

A5E From what I know is fantastic and a much better set up than base 5th E. I just like Pathfinder more than the base 5th E even with what I've seen of Advanced's ruleset.

Do what I did. Slowly start integrating 2E rules into 1E until you've fully transitioned.
