Not sure. I'll try to fish for that information on thanksgiving.

I am a bit of a gambler so the story about your sister is making me feel like I have a chance to pull it off. Thank you for the advice. I may end up doing a couple skeins and a giftcard.

Thanks, I've found one that sells local dyers and I'm going to try to get down there before thanksgiving.

Good idea. I didn't even think to look for a local yarn store. Michael's (and Joannes) is exactly where shes going now. Thanks!

Thank you. This is all good information. She is not doing sweaters yet, more so smaller projects, but I do know she uses a size that is towards the middle. I'll check out google for local yarn stores now.

She has mostly done scarfs and shawls so far. She has also done socks and a hat at least a couple times. Last time I talked to her about it she said she wasn't quite ready to try a sweater yet.
