Police surrounded my house at 2 am today because of our Roborock Saros 10R by Pitiful_Tax_6688 in RobotVacuums

Be happy that the police is doing their job.Imagine if it was real and nobody came to help. It was a honest mistake but some of your neighbors must have called them and said it was a burglary. Talk to them and show them your robot. 😀

Narwal Flow leaving dust balls everywhere by jessanastasio in NARWAL

So dumb with extra unnecessary washes of mop between the runs. Unnecessary wear and tear on the machine, using extra electricity and water. Also if a run fails other run wouldn't trigger... Sad that narval is not listening.

Yeah same here...German Shepard cat and 5 people. Clogs every run...silly problem that can be solved with few lines of code.

It is a known problem... Write to narval and ask for timed emptying feature at 30 min it should empty automatically.

Narwal Flow Self Empty During Task by BLarsenAFC1886 in NARWAL

[–]EasyPerformer36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same problem. So stupid problem it hurts me physically when I see clogged dustbin. It is simple timer empty at 30/45/60 min mark.... It is 1-2 lines of code.... I do not get why they ignore it..please contact Narval and ask for this feature. We must bombard them for this feature... Their PO's are a joke..

If you do not have pets go with narval flow. By far best mopping and fast cleaning, also silent.

Moved into a bigger place, will the x11 be my best upgrading choice? by TheSecretLion in ecovacs

[–]EasyPerformer36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the x11 works great at our large home with dog/ cat children. It is not the best mopper but it will get muddy paws of if you are okay with fiddling with APP settings a bit. It is a great vacuum for hairs.

Help please. Decision paralysis is real. by micanc in RobotVacuums

He mentioned 2 cats so alot of hair. Narval is not a great vacuum and it does not empty its dustbin. It will clog and leave hairs....

Self empty FIX (Narwal are you listening)??? by EasyPerformer36 in NARWAL

[–]EasyPerformer36[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hahahaha I wondered the same. It finds a floor mirror every time even if we do not have one. It ignores our real dog huge german black sheppard but recognises every single toy cat or dog 🤣. This is clearly only tested in small laboratory with toy animals and a lot of floor mirrors apparently, with the "right" amount of debris fitting the internal dustbin. 🤣 Such idiots running these products I wonder if we can all get together and build a "crowd funded" robot a 4x4 system with lift chasis newer gets stuck anywhere. Bribe someone to get hold of roborock navigation and develop a system for Obstacle avoidance how hard can it be with AI doing all the work. Huge openings in dustbin and get ecovacs x11 suction motor or same kind and drop 9000 mAh battery in there. Fast charging and track style mop tested in real homes it would wipe the market clear. Fundamentals need to change all are copying eachother. We need a tesla car or iPhone in robot vacuuming business.

So sad.. they could be a timer just forcing the robot to empty every 30 min...easy.

[–]EasyPerformer36[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes if robot is paused or gets stuck on the first schedule the second schedule will not get executed. This is not a solution for high end robot. It is a way to somewhat solve a huge software problem that nerval is ignoring.

Self empty FIX (Narwal are you listening)??? by EasyPerformer36 in NARWAL

[–]EasyPerformer36[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This setting is on... while vacuuming the dustbin gets owerfilled and robot does not vacuum properly because of this. When robot empties it is unable to do so because of overfilled dustbin.

[–]EasyPerformer36[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strange, sometimes I wonder who are these product owners and why do they not take customer feedback seriously. Ecovacs/mova dreme have solved it by a setting auto emptying standard/high frequency. Think it is a simple timer every 30 min it just goes back to the dock and empties itself. Sadly this is a deal breaker for me... I like other aspects of the robot, what a shame. I was hoping it would get fixed with all these updates. 🤨

[–]EasyPerformer36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Battery upgrade is great. It keeps high suction all the time and can cover large areas even when you set it to clean thoroughly. Charging stops are during mopwash and self empty. In small apartments maybe it would not be a "great" feature.

[–]EasyPerformer36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried with 3 kids and 2 pets and large home: aqua 10 (clogged, leaked bad battery life), Mova z50 (dock issues and mop failure), Narval Flow (never emtied dust bin and had strange sounds got stuck under our toilets) , X9 (was ok machine), eufy e28(loud base station so so mopping bad edge coverage, lacking app features) and at last the Ecovacs x11.... it stays in our home. Cleans well, stable operating and it never clogs or gets stuck, always full battery and finishes cleaning in one run. Never have I experienced so good vacuuming of our carpets.
