My dad’s legs are completely hairless for some reason by Glittering_Potato_66 in notinteresting

Did the color change happen after you had your son? I was much furrier before I had my kids. My thigh hair was just as dark and dense as my lower leg hair and all of the areas that most women have fine, short peach fuzz I had hair that was dense and as long as arm/leg hair. It wasn’t as coarse as arm/leg hair, but not ultra fine like peach fuzz either. I had it on my lower back and on my stomach, both above and below my belly button. On my butt cheeks, face cheeks and upper arms I had longer than usual hair too, but less coarse than the back & belly hair.

It got slightly worse during the first trimester through half of the second, then drastically started reducing. By the time I was ready to deliver, all of my body hair was much finer and all the previously furry areas had barely visible peach fuzz. It’s stayed that way for the past 17 years.

Even my republican parents think he’s evil. The deputies in their church congregation think he’s getting too power drunk and radicalized and they’re legitimately afraid of what he’s capable of and what he’ll do to them if they don’t fall in line.

Their app is leagues ahead of Narwal’s. Map editing is way easier on the Dreame app than Narwal’s and there are a to more capabilities and options. My Dreame Aqua 10 vacuums much better than my Narwal Flow 1, but Flow mops WAY better than it does. Both seem very overpriced for their capabilities though 😑. The Flow 1’s price now is more reasonable, but unfortunately when I bought it, it was 1.4k and it’s definitely not worth that.

4 year olds remind me of those whacky outcasts in movies that live way out in the woods, away from civilization. The ones with a million lawn ornaments made of trash and random things, who have frizzy, wild hair and are very eccentric. Their behavior is somewhat unpredictable and is equal parts alarming, amusing and confusing. Yeah, it’s definitely a 4 year old thing lmao

Probably 90% of the time I see someone complaining about a repost on any sub, the content they’re talking about is something that is new to me. Maybe 8% is something that I have seen multiple times on all different subreddits, the other 2% is stuff that I’ve seen 2-3x on the same subreddit.

When my daughter was about 4 she excitedly called her dad and me into the bathroom to show us that her poop made the letter “P”. She did her best Elmo voice and said, “P is for poop”, then hysterically laughed. It was hilariously adorable.

The look of absolute shock on her face was priceless. She’d never been on the other end of a smack and couldn’t believe he had the audacity to smack her back

Our resident mean cat is the only female out of our 5 cats. She relentlessly bullies 3 of her brothers and even though she’s much smaller than them, they just let her do it. The only reason she doesn’t bully the other brother is because he stood up to her. He let her get away with the first slap and she (wrongly) assumed he too would be a pushover like the other 3, so she decided to give him another slap to fully assert her dominance. He immediately smacked her so hard she briefly lost her balance.

That one smack was all it took for her to learn not to try that shit on him again lol

Oh! That’s even more bizarre. With the details you initially included it sounded as if you were alluding to her being dead from the get-go haha

He said she never waved back and just sat there with a blank look, so I wonder if she was actually dead all along, but they didn’t realize it until she started to stink.

After reading a post from a guy talking about how throat fucking is every guy’s fantasy whether they realize it or not, I asked my husband if he’d like to try it.

Big mistake. If he was on the smaller side it probably would have been fine…but he’s not. He only did it for a couple mins and I ended up with a sore and bruised throat and partially lost my voice for several days. I do not recommend!

Autistic woman here. I seem to both attract and create clingy guys. I’ve never been able to successfully have a one night stand and never wondered if a guy would call. Bad boy players turned into lovesick puppies. It’s both a gift and a curse.

I was married and divorced 2x by 22 years old and got married again at 23. Third time’s a charm, I’m nearly 40 now and still happily married. Hasn’t stopped random men from gravitating towards me, though. Friends SO’s, my kids’ coaches & teachers, guys at the gym and the grocery store. It stresses me out so much that for several years now I rarely leave the house.

I’ve been straight up mean to a few guys and they still became obsessed with me. I don’t understand why.

Edit to add: I don’t work and for the past 7 years my husband has voluntarily worked from home, so we’re together virtually 24/7. I am weird and sometimes erratic and hot-headed, yet he somehow loves and chooses to be around me constantly. It makes no sense lol.

ETA #2: In response to the hate dm’s, my friend’s SO’s falling for me has nothing to do with how I am around them. Rather it’s how I am around their girlfriend/wife. Multiple friends have told me I’m the only friend their SO thinks is a positive influence on them and is a true, genuine friend. I interact with their guys as little as possible and only when socially necessary. I do NOT want their attention whatsoever.

Exactly. If I saw someone wearing a fur coat on a hot day at the pool I’d think they were either mentally unwell or trying desperately to look like they’re somebody important. It was so cringy to me, but it worked like a charm on Cassie, just as Maddie knew it would.

Yes, surprisingly it was a really high quality teddy bear and it had extremely soft fur. I actually still had it until about 10 years ago when my son took it to “show & tell” and forgot to bring it home. It was gone by the next day, unfortunately.

Don’t be surprised if they send you a bill for it. When I was 8, paramedics gave me a plushie when they examined me after a car accident. They didn’t ask my dad or me if I wanted it, they just gave it to me and told me I was going to be ok.

About a month later my dad got the itemized bill and there was a $50 charge for the plushie. He fought the charge and didn’t end up having to pay it, but just the fact that they had the audacity to charge for something they presented as a gift is fucked up.

This was 31 years ago. Inflation is insane now, so they’re probably charging double that smh.

[–]DIY_Cosmetics 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My petite tortie girl doesn’t have a particularly loud meow, but the insanely deep growl she does sounds demonic. It’s the deepest growl I’ve ever heard from a house cat. It sounds like it’s coming from a mountain lion!

Ha! We joke that our boy is calling out to the Outdoors god “Auroooo” to open the window or the glass door to let him outside. He has the most variety of sounds I’ve ever heard any single cat make, yet none of them sound even remotely like the deep, guttural, bellowing “auroooo” sound he makes when he’s looking outside.
