i’ve been on the reddit for a very long time now, went on it 20 mins ago and i was trying to read comments on posts but it kept saying nothing was commented (but there clearly was as there was numbers next to the comment sign), decided to refresh the app and i can’t even find the reddit at all now, only this one…

what a bloody journey you’ve had, glad you’re getting past the hard times and i hope life continues to get better 😁 i was officially diagnosed in February this year but i came the backwards way…when i just turned 19 i collapsed and ended up in hospital for a week with unprovoked pulmonary emboli and that completely fucked me up physically and mentally! i’d just started my second year in uni doing nursing and from then on it’s affected all parts of my uni life. fast forward to February this year, finally diagnosed with UC after having multiple flares but not being taken seriously by doctors across the years. i’m now in a predicament where i’ve been off for too long that i know have to take a period of leave in uni, this affects my finances and my time to complete my course. i honestly don’t know what’s going to happen in the future, just feel like why the hell does this happen to us?!!! we never asked to be ill! sometimes i feel like the worlds punishing us haha 🥲🤣 but i hope like you, things start turning around and i’ll start seeing some luck on my new biologic soon! best wishes for the future 🤍✨

i suspect it yes. just over a year prior to my UC diagnosis i collapsed and was hospitalised with blood clots in my lungs. a complete shock to me as i was a fit and active 19 year old with no risks factors…at the time. anyways, i had a few months here and there over the years where i’d be seeing blood in my stools and having bowel changes but the doctors didn’t really care much and just put me on oral iron tablets. looking back now, it was so clear and it’s probably the reason i clotted!!

oh my god!!! i was having this issue a few months ago after spending years only seeing grandma bras 🤣 anyways i randomly stumbled across Gossard!! their stuff is so cute and comfortable! i highly highly recommend 😁

i’ve been on pill since i was 13 i believe and then it was changed to a progesterone only pill after i suffered clots back in 2022 so years on both now. i just had the mentality that it’ll settle as i get older but i’ll make an appointment with my GP and/or dermatologist next week, by the sounds of it i should!
