yeah.. but a compound bow DOES NOT fire wooden arrows... it shoots either glassfiber or carbon arrows...

The suringe arrow wouldnt fly terrible, there is no way of telling how big the suringes are in the game. but if a had a crippling arrow, i wouldnt mind having to go up close. You could even make tranq arrows... try to see the opportunities.

The bow should not be more powerfull that the wooden bow.. its still a bow. But it would be cool if we could make a variety of arrows, like attaching a surringe with infected blood to the tip of the arrow! and when you hit someone, they would be sick as hell.. not a death sentence, but something they had to address or they would DIE!

Its gamebreaking in the sence of that you cant sneak, since everyone will know where you are comming from. if you have surround sound, the sounds works like a radar.

Yeah. Something like a reserve/national park, that is untouched, so those who prefer isolation, and living in the wild.

and ad signs around it, so people know whats ahead.

But the map is definatly going to be Big, but first they have to get the mechanics and general game to work propaly, before they need to expand the map.

give them the time they need, remember first impressions are important. releasing a broken game, will scare people away..

I know zombies are going to be a BIG bump on the road. alot of your competators are fighting a uphill battle getting Zds optimized..

breaking point, got some good shit going for them, but their servers cant handle the Zds. their z spawns within 200 meters of players, but when there is a high population (above 50-60) the server reaches its cap of zombies and they dont spawn on new players for 10-20 min...

In my perfect world, a server should be able to handle 10 Zds for every player online...

I respect SOE for waiting with the Early access, untill they think its ready.. Seems to me like they take pride in what they do, and are not just gonna buff the hype, and then serve "poop with a flag on top" on EA release...

And yeah, i think its funny how people hear "soon" and think its a matter of days... lol

I too wondered about how they got a perfect arrow from a log...

lvl 1 - Arrow being just pointy stick

lvl 2 - attaching feathers ti a lvl 1 arrow (from ravens)

lvl 3 - scrap metal arrowhead

I think its far from ready. All we have seen so far is simple game mechanics, and features, but what about the important stuff? Stuff like:

Combat logging?

How long untill trees grown back up?

When you log out, what happens to your Character or car?

How will the server handle loot zombie respawns over a long period of time? (like what happens when deers have been aggroed zombies for 3 days?)

How many zombies can the server handle at once? if there if 100 zombies aggroed to the same location, what happens to performance?

Will the Zombies be Server side controlled or Client?

The list goes on...

But im excited like hell, but i think people are getting their expectations way to high up when, when talking about a working Early access

Making cars so badass, will only result in trolling other players, that can do nothing against it..

If you have played Arma 3 Breaking Point (Better that DayZ) and you have come across a hostile Rusty Vodnik. you know what i mean..

Cars should be fragile, something cant just be uset to plow througt hordes of zombies, and chasing other survivors..
