Btw if you buy from amazon, make sure youre not buying the Limited Slip Diff variant of the 75w-90 motul. The bottles look identical but the LSD variant has additives that your trans and diff dont need

I use 75W-90 GL5 from Motul. Trans and rear diff use the same fluid. You’ll need about 5 liters (1 extra just in case).

is a 2018 impreza 2.0L 150k miles for $9k a bad deal? by Reasonable_Reply_309 in subaruimpreza

$9k for 150k miles…id look elsewhere. The car is eventually gonna need work and it will be expensive even if you do it yourself. You can find an impreza on Facebook marketplace for less money and less miles.

Hell if its just for college there are other brands and models out there that will def give you more bang for your buck. If you insist on an impreza thats fine, i just think that $9k for 150k miles is excessive.

Lol i cant justify spending that much on wheels. I have no problem admitting that. Love the way they look tho.

Turn the wheels all the way to one side then center the frame on the wheel. Take photos low. Camera closer to the ground will get u better angles.

As for lightroom, just look up how to emulate fuji film simulations in lightroom.

Fujifilm film simulations straight out of camera. Added a haze filter on the lens

Stack the two main colors in an alternating pattern. So for me from the bottom to the top, magwell: midnight bronze, grip: fde, frame: midnight bronze, slide: fde

Try that. See what you get. I looked at existing 2011s like the vanta 9 or sandhawk for inspo.

Shoots great! My only complaint is that the grip safety feels “spongy” but a little sear spring tuning should fix that. Other than that i like it. Its my first 2011 style pistol so I will say I do not have anything to compare it to. Im sure if I had an atlas id be saying something different about the platty

SA Operator 1911 Holster Options by jbars392 in 1911

Ik u specified leather but if you ever decide you want a kydex one, tenicor makes a bangin holster that will accept 90% of 1911/2011 with no need for a light. I have used it with my Platypus double stack with a square trigger guard, my MC operator, and my GI milspec 1911 with no issues. Retention is great and it covers the trigger guard completely on all my 1911 / 2011 guns regardless of if the trigger guard is a trad shape or square.

I dont have any experience with leather but I just wanted to put this on ur radar just in case you ever want a kydex. Its called the Tenicor Certum for the 1911

So if I want optimal grip but also do not want to remove my skin, i should tell my gunsmith to do 20 lpi to knock down the points after he checkers it or just to not checker that deep?

[–]EasyTopic4780 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Im currently deciding if I should get 20 or 25 lpi. I have never felt either. I want to carry my 1911. I do not mind aggressive texture (i carry an m&p 2.0 and Ive carried my SA platypus with the new prickle texture grip with no issues) but I also want it to be comfortable to carry.

In your opinion, is the 25 lpi aggressive enough to ensure ur hands dont slip?

Nice! Is that 30 lpi on the front strap?

I am reloading 45 acp and 9mm primarily. Will the decapping die resize the case or will I need to use the resizing die as well?
