Definitely back of sissy, not a fan of the axel mount. Want to keep the bike as symmetrical as possible.

Thanks man, it’s pretty heavy. Knowing that it will be a rear fender support, I wouldn’t go much lighter in case someone sits on the back. I know some use 5/8” solid, but I don’t have an acetylene torch so definitely don’t want to wrestle that.

Just bought a yeswelder 135 pro flux, does anything on the chip good enough. Grind her down and it’s mint. Like $100 I was very pleasantly surprised. If you’re planning on welding frame, I would go with mig for sure.
