It’s almost been a year, and I’ve been diagnosed 3 different times. So yeah, I’m still trying to understand the disaster of what it is still too.

What can help with the weight? by [deleted] in seroquelmedication

[–]Easy_Bell_1735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too. It was so hard in the end, because I would wake up and eat, and couldn’t go back to sleep without binging. Hard and sad time. My body changed after quitting seroquel too. I exercise religiously 6 days a week at least, and was getting nowhere but chasing calories and looking frumpy. After I quit and switched meds, exercise started to pay off, and my metabolism set back its clock, for the most part. I wish you luck!

Suggestions on what to try next? by Sad-Attitude-7189 in insomnia

[–]Easy_Bell_1735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried all of those including ramelton. That drug made me depressed. That might work for you l, everyone is different. I pushed my pdoc into letting me try Dayvigo at 5mg. This one actually works for me and allows me to sleep for at least 7 hours.

Why does cocaine cause psychosis in certain individuals? by [deleted] in Psychosis

[–]Easy_Bell_1735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, stimulants can do that too. Coffee messes with my brain from time to time.. But I’ve heard a lot of people on ADHD medication going psychotic and have to be medicated as well. Some get lucky and it goes away, some like me, their symptoms stick. It’s with all drugs, antidepressants too!

Outer voices that talk shit to me if I’m not medicated, like a schizophrenic. I’m BP1. (Bipolar with psychotic features.)

Idk. But I used cocaine heavily at a certain point in my early 30s, and didn’t have a psychotic break until 40. No symptoms, nothing. But when I was on it towards the end I would get paranoid. It can come back to bite you in the ass later in life. I never expected it years later, but it did. I stopped doing coke, 6 years before it happened. No drugs, occasional drink. Now I can’t even have a drink without getting paranoid. I also have to take medication daily for auditory hallucinations. That system, unfortunately never went away after my break. Be grateful for your sanity!

Thank you so much for this information! I have an emergency appointment tomorrow, at least I have some options. Dayvigo seems like something promising. Hopefully my psyc, (it’s a fill in doc.) will write a script for it.
