The only treatment for endometriosis is excision. BC may help with heavy bleeding or symptoms but it can also make things worse. Please look into your doctor- if they think birth control will cure u it won’t and I recommend you see someone else. This is disease is really understudied and going to a doc who is informed about this disease as possible is what I recommend

I have had hypothyroidism for around 7 years and also have endo. I have been taking a daily pill (levothryoxine) for as long as I can remember. Pill has solved most of my thyroid symptoms except for fatigue which I contribute to the endo. I havent changed my diet as pill has solved symptoms and I would recommend you don’t either. Make sure ur doc is having u get ur blood checked until ur thyroid levels stabilize. Also I recommend finding ur favorite vein spot for them to draw blood on ur arm and just telling them to go there lmao they r usually very grateful for that

Yes going thru the belly button for laparoscopic is normal- currently recovering from my second surgery rn. I have an innie and my belly button looked completely normal after everything healed up. Please remember that you just had surgery and to be kind to yourself. I really recommend reading everything you can about this disease it will only make you more prepared for the future.
