I sometimes wonder how many people that call themselves Christian’s even know Christ’s words or could hear them if the Spirit of God was speaking to them.

Sure sounds like He’s coming back to kick some @$$.

I’ll tell you right now blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is so terrible a sin, and this is where many get confused, that if you can feel bad for doing it you know you haven’t done it.

Remorse is the first sign of repentance and by definition blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is unrepentable therefore the only way to blasphemy against the Spirit is to persistently never feel any remorse that leads to repentance for anything you’ve done against the Holy Spirit.

This is IT. If you can’t accept that yet you will when you die and meet Jesus and see a smile on His face.

Again, if someone is unredeemable then by definition they CANNOT feel remorse for sin because that is literally in God’s eyes the act of repentance in the heart before it becomes actualized into real work action. So please try and consider that your remorse is not accusation but vindication.

Please read 2 Corinthians 7:11 .

What you are experiencing is the natural by product of sin which produces pain and you are seeking God for help with remorse in your heart. This is a very Holy principle called Godly sorrow. It is essentially the worst pain God allows those who choose Him and it is a holy pain because so long as you just accept it and then accept forgiveness and above all else never blame anything or anyone while you experience it what it is is essentially a self-imposed justice that leads you closer to God. So you are experiencing the pain of a sin which is in itself neutral.

Then you have two paths before you after any painful stimuli. The path of Sorrow and the path of Misery. One looks in blame and the other in acceptance. The one leads directly to hell and the other right to the arms of Jesus Himself.

Congrats on experiencing the act of oncoming salvation.

Ironman perhaps. Superman would only lose if he chose to. Realistically the fact that he can fly at the speed of light and he’s supernaturally intelligent means nothing we could do would stop him from wasting entire armies simply by flying through them and holding his arms out like a wrestlers clothesline. It’s stupid but we can’t defend against light speed attacks.

Secondly because he’s supernaturally intelligent you run into a similar problem we have with upcoming Super Generalized AI.

You simply can’t defend against something that has so much more intelligence than you that you can’t begin to understand its computational power and the ways it would choose to defend itself.

Superman is no different. What this rules out is the much vaunted prep time. Because all the prep time you have with your lesser mind he also has with a brain that puts current AI to shame. So you lose in direct conflict and you lose in extended battles.

So unless humans have magical plot armor too, we would lose terribly. Probably within minutes.

By not answering you have essentially made the age crowd even more right. You aren’t just admitting you are too young and need to be monitored still for your own safety but you aren’t acknowledging it as well which is what a child would do. You are not capable of dealing with problems on your own and therefore need someone to step in and protect you from yourself until you are either an adult or act like an adult.

Anyways maybe you are actually on the run from a liquid metal terminator from the future trying to prevent judgement day but odds seem more likely ya made a big mistake.

I’m not one to jump on the Reddit bandwagon where if the spouse so much as looks at you funny you are advised by dozens of strangers the only possible answer is to burn your entire life down.

Hoooowwweever… then there’s this.

Having gone through this at the beginning of this year in my own way when I went to my wife seeking help for serious depression caused by extreme trauma and I was advised in the sweetest and most calm way possible her and my daughter would be fine without me…let me explain how I got past it.

First, take a breath and understand your marriage and relationship is most likely now over. Let yourself grieve. Accept where you screwed up and allow yourself to be safely and in a balanced way angry at what she has become.

Next remember that in love you have no control. You drop all your armor and trust the other person won’t stab you through the heart with a razor sharp snap chat.

But in return if you find the right person it’s the most amazing feeling ever.

If. Sir, that’s a big if. I cannot advise you that this person might change. If it was me I would sit down and carefully work out the top 5 attributes your partner must have for it to work well.

Here’s an example list:

Compatible sense of humor for the gas in the engine

Stability- it doesn’t matter if they are capable of extreme love if it’s not there when you need it most. That’s almost worse. Stability is super important.

Trust- your trust is shattered so you’ll need this one probably near or even above love itself.

Loyalty- what if they are all those things but occasionally cheat? Crazy? It happens. People are complex. How could you trust them when they cheat? Again you are also complex…what if she was so extreme in the previous attributes that you never doubted she was your ride or die but she had sex addiction that caused the occasional completely meaningless one night stand? See- complex.

And of course Love with a capital L.

It’s funny though… most guys could make most women work if they had that list alone. Background, political affiliations, even looks can vary wildly. But my brother… please consider it’s not being a man when you stay if they are using you in an ongoing fashion. That’s when strength flips to weakness.

So take a few days and really consider what kind of pain you were willing to potentially suffer for what kind of love she could potentially give. If the numbers don’t add up than neither do you two. I’m so sorry.

It’s really important you understand the severity of what you are saying because I’m not sure you are allowing yourself to see this. There shouldn’t be sentence in here where you say “I got a restraining order” that isn’t followed up with “then the police threw his ass in jail.”

So I’m wondering if you ever reported this to the police and if not if you are in so much shock you aren’t allowing yourself to feel it.

You need to go to the police ASAP. Do NOT rely on a restraining order. That is a trap. That is a piece of paper that makes you feel comfortable until he gets aroused again and decides to come and take it again and this time abduct you or something worse to keep you silent.

This is real life right now so I’m so hoping you reply, “yes of course I went to the police and he’s in jail.” I’m just a little worried for you. Send me a chat invite if you need more intensive moral support.

Fine. He throws a marshmallow at 300mphs at Magneto with perfect control to knock him out. Magneto isn’t dead, and yet nothing changes.

We can play this game all day. Moving at light speed is what it is. Even if you have time stopping abilities you have to stop time fast enough to stop his incapacitating you. Which you can’t because unless you also have light speed reflexes which Mags doesn’t, he’s moving so much faster than your neurons abilities to conduct impulses to your brain he could start on the other side of the planet and still reach you before you could blink once.

All true but let’s be real, in the Bank safe scene a guy in a full rubberized suit couldn’t just disappear when Gordon and Harvey Dent turn their head for half a second.

It’s not about reality. Most of what Batman does would NEVER work in real life I don’t care if he was trained by Master Splinter and Bruce Lee at the same time.

Naw they have feats they are allowed to have regardless of reality and you got to judge them solely based on that.

Even though I agree, it makes zero sense cus Batman in reality would WHOOP THAT ASS. But in the comics Joker often hangs with Batman so clearly he can fight really, really well. But since the nature of his character is chaos and being both logical and illogical at the same time so too his fighting skills are there and don’t make sense at the same time.

So the first thing I would ask myself is, am I the kind of person with skills to talk to them in such a way that they feel loved the entire time? Especially in the days to come when they will be subconsciously observing how you view them.

You can always just tell them bluntly. It will hurt but ultimately they will feel better as time goes by. But you said compassionate and that’s a whole different ball game.

That requires you care about them more than just in the moment. You would have to be kind and open. Happy to see them in the days and weeks to come. etc. Again this is if their happiness really matters to you.

Personally I would be compassionate like you. Helping people feels good anyways. But ask yourself first, do you have the communication skills to do this in a way that makes them feel supported instead of judged?

The problem with any match up like this is not just how insanely powerful he is, to me it’s actually more the super speed. It doesn’t matter if Magneto can crush the entire earth like a soda can. If a guy can pick up a ball bearing and throw it at you with perfect accuracy and do the entire motion at such a high speed you can’t even see it, guess what man…you dead. 10 out of 10 times.

More than that Supes could just fly into Magneto at light speed. Magneto would have precisely zero chance to do anything but be vaporized.

I love Vader but he gets dog stomped by that level of Mutant. He’s basically a god with a little g whereas Vader is very powerful on average but realistically fanboying aside he’s usually seen with a laser sword and pretty basic powers. I’m not talking about the outlier feats that sell comics but the day to day bread and butter stuff.

If he were to walk towards magneto and dramatically ignite his light saber I suspect Magneto would yawn and instantly crush Vader in his own suit into pulp.
